  1. To be fair, there are good reasons for it being so cheap. Import, very low spec (wheels, brakes + most likely the interior), no pictures of the inside OR the apparently awesome stereo, very weird debadging, no spoiler of any kind which looks odd, dents here there and everywhere. Mileage is about the only thing which is actually not bad at all given the age.

    It's my zed :)

Exactly, the price is a true reflection of what is it. It's a base spec model import.

The pictures are taken off the old listing I bought it off. I'll go take some pictures myself when I clean it properly, just in a bit of a rush to get it on there.

And debadging? I know the 'fairlady' is missing from the rear next to the 'z' but that's all Im aware of?

And the medical is not for myself. It's actually pretty expensive medical work for a a family member :(

  2. I work for virgin media, not a sub contractor who do all the fresh installations, I'm a service tech that comes to fix it when it breaks!

If your on 20mb phone up and you'll be put up to 30mb for free, then doubled to 60mb for free in a few months. Not bad hey?

Yeah stuff does go wrong, but that's technology, it's always going to break at some point. Look at apples iPhone 4 when that was launched with all the problems of signal?

We're also trailing over 120mb in some areas, that can download a film in about 4 seconds. Now that's pretty sweet!

I instal tivos daily, and my advice is go onto help and watch the how to videos, you'll learn so much more about what the box can do than what you think. Such as exploring individual actors, creating wish list etc.

If anyone has any questions or queries about anything PM me and I'll see what I can do.

So any chance of getting a double up in speed on my 60 Meg in a few months time?

And can you get Usain Bolt to do my installation? (Only want a photo opportunity really as I don't think he'd be any good at installing)

If your on 60mb you'll go to either 100 or 120 for free!

  4. I live in Watford, Hertfordshire, right next to London so trying to find some decent roads isn't really the easiest.

I only really use the car for driving to the gym which is about 4/5miles away and to my girlfriends which is a 50mile motorway round trip. Plus I got flashed on the motorway about 2 months back doing 90ish, so now I'm too scared to push it For the sake of getting points.

You have a 12 mile bypass which is new from Hemel To Aylesbury and I often use it.

Once your past TRING you can do what ever speed is safe!

Plus you have the M25 1 mile to the North of Watford.

Police sit in the lay-by on the Hemel aylesbury in front of lorrys so you cant see them. And like i said got flashed on m25...

  5. Not wishing to offend, but what attracted you to the car in the first place?

What I mean by this is that the qualities of the car that made you buy it, probably still remain. Looks, affordability, sportyness when you want it etc etc. Alternatively, what would you get instead, and would it make you smile as much?

My old car was dying a slow and painful death. So needed something to replace it. I've always admired the 350z and wanted one since I first saw one.

I think I'll just go for a drive and see if that cures my situation....

  7. Owned the zed for about a month now, and I can't help but think that I bought the wrong car.

Don't get me wrong, it's fantastic, but it seems like it has too much power for uk roads. I mean, wherever I put my foot down, there's either a speed camera, or other cars.

Starting to feel that the power is unusable. Therefore the petrol consumption is pointless if I can't enjoy it.

I'm driving to nurburgring next month so hopefully that will change my mind.

I'm considering to use it learn how to drift. And then next year get something a bit more usable for roads and keep this as a toy.

Anyone else feel a bit like this?

  8. I seem to be having this conversation with everyone.

"so what car do you drive?"

    "a Nissan 350z"

The general response is "what's that?"

At this point I don't really know how to explain other than:

    "it's a 2 seater sports coupe thing..."

Everyone must have come across this before.

    What's been your general response?

  9. The plate in the grill looks appalling, looks worse than a standard bumper IMO.

I'm going to hopefully smooth my bumper, but going to get a retractable plate. Cost £100, but wired to a button on the dash and you can have it up or hidden in moments.

  10. This is what I've done;

Bought a 350z and doing my bike licence in a few months (intensive course) and getting a track bike.

Bikes on the road are far too dangerous. And for the price of a speeding ticket and a lot less hassle, ild rather get on a track, be able to go as fast as I can push myself and not have to worry about a granny in a Micra pulling out in front of me.
