Felt some wobble/noise and was going to pull in to shops at end of road and check.
Still drives fine, so no proper damage.

Wing looks repairable from here.
This is unfortunate but it's something i check regularly. Not only that they are tight but are torqued correctly.
The wing was dented anyways, so an excuse to get a new one! Every cloud.....

It's a strange feeling being overtaken by your own wheel....
Luckily i was just going down the road.
New wing is needed though.
Whoops...
-
Says the height go he wing can be adjusted?
Judging by the pictures, not much!
-
Right,
Immediately, I know this will get a mixed reaction, but....
What are people's opinions on them?
I like personally!

True, they do seem to have hundreds for sale over there!
Also, apart from torque, there doesnt seem to be much bhp increase standard? How easy are these engines to get a considerable bhp increase from?
-
Have you got a rough cost?
-
So for this conversion I'm guessing you need:
Lsx and gearbox
Sikky kit or similar
Ecu/loom re wiring
Fuel pump/lines
And that's about it?
-
Since seeing this video yesterday, I've spent the past 24 hours researching the lsx swap.
Oh I want it so bad!

The blue is just spacers, so won't really be seen, and if it annoys me I'll just spray them.
It's all going on a black car.
Going to test fit wheels later!

Tow strap and 30mm!
-
Bright much
Exactly
-
wheels all refurbed/sprayed (the lip is just protective tape)
Tow strap is the trs one from eBay. Price £9.95 I think!
-
Arrived home from a 2 week holiday to a load of parcels/presents I forgot I bought!
Got my wheels refurd/resprayed in orange
30mm spacers(mix up with post, 2nd set arriving this week)
Orange tow strap
Fly-eye film
Will all be fitted when spacers arrive!
Excited is an understatement!
That is all.

What's the reason for the noise?
Would it not be easier to chat to them?
-
What a pity the muppet driving wasn't a fatality.
Wow.... Bit harsh?
-
2k?!
You sure you haven't been done over?
Would expect half that even if you need a whole new gearbox...

Wont it be cheaper to just buy a white zed? quote]
probably not much cheaper, and definitely not easier; there are only two white zeds for sale in the whole country on autotrader, and they're both imports and older than the OP's car. Only one is a manual and it doesn't look in great nick.
On the wheels, definitely black
DB
True, haven't looked at op car.
If I was going for wrap, I'll go for something different, I.e matt dark grey.

For the price i paid, it was worth it!

Wheels, ild go a stand out colour. Maybe a purple? Maroon? A light blue will go well.

Didn't realise there was an Astra in that pic! Bloody hell...

Hi!
Just a bit of advice or any suggestions really?
Since I bought the car the gearbox made a noise when not engaged but when as soon as clutch was depressed.
Now, it's pretty bad, also gear changes are becoming so hard/difficult.
I'm on holiday for two weeks so given my dad the task of getting it looked at for me.
Had my next door neighbour have a quick look who thinks its something to do with when the gearbox engages/ the bearing?
Will a simple oil change and lube up of the gear box solve these issues? Or is it a full on new clutch/gearbox? If so, anyone know what kind of price I'll be looking at?

I used to have 90mm spacers on my 106 dimma!
Tip: make sure your wheels are done up tight.....

Yeah all standard nuts.
I removed the wheel last week to check fitment of new wheels that are to be fitted, I probably just didn't do it up tight enough tbh. Own fault.
Ah well. Live and learn.
