you really need a machine polish to get rid of them , then concentrate on good washing and drying techinque

 

from what i have found over the years SRP , black hole, lime prime etc only really work on very light swirls

 

i would invest in a polisher and some pads/polish

 

My Kuro is gleaming, i only really wax it now and give it a polish with my machine every 6 months using the menzerna range of polishes.

My problem with keeping the car clean is that I can't actually park it near my house, so no plug socket option is available...

OK, four weeks in with the Z and been putting in SUL the whole time except at the weekend when the garage only had UL.

I don't like the word 'detonation' and it seems to be associated with UL...

If I have stuck UL in, and, the possibility that the previous owner may have used unleaded, will the car need a remap?

omg this is truly awful, its scary how one punch can damage someone that badly, i guess if they know what they are doing.

I don't think people are aware of the outcome of doing this sort of thing. They watch movies where there is a 5 minute fight scene and you might see a slightly bloody nose and both guys walk away and they think that's reality.

I have met some great Polish people in my time, I am pretty sure they are just as embarrassed by this sort of behaviour by their countrymen as I am of watching some England fans causing riots and ripping up bars in other countries and the like. Fortunately it is in the minority, and the majority are as welcoming as you would want.

I have been to Warsaw five or six times on business never had any trouble, but then again I go out in the evenings with Poles who take me to places where there won't be stag do's or the like. In the end as much as this story sounds utterly horrific, this sort of thing happens in the UK all the time as well. I used to live in Essex, and the reason I moved out of there was because two guys came up behind me in a bar and smashed me over the head with a wine bottle from behind because 'i had a white shirt on and someone in a white shirt had looked at his girlfriend earlier in the night' - just as daft a reason as the idiot in the Polish bar who hit the original posters mate for no real reason.

Anyway I still have the 4 inch titanium plate riveted to my jaw where is shattered in three places, and no it doesn't beep in airports

Its a little 'tinny' but otherwise good enough for everyday listening, you don't get any interference like the radio transmitters. I just bought one of these...

Having bought a somewhat tatty black 04 ZED I have spent a few weeks getting it back to how it should look. I put some Super Resin Polish on it but its literally filled all those scratches I couldnt see before with white polish, and there are a fair few, now they show up.

I have had a look online and Poorboys Black Hole seems to be a good option to get rid of all the marks. I do have a tub of this kicking around at home as well...would it be any good at sorting this sort of problem out? It looks like just a standard wax?

Excellent work there, I have just purchased two black Z badges and a black 350Z badge so was wondering what they looked like on a black car. I was though wondering, I might put the '350Z' badge not on the left but on the main bodywork below the rear Z badge to make it all very symetrical, what do people think?

Got 6 spoke alloys, need new tyres, if I get a set that fit the standard alloys would they fit fine on a set of Rays if I got a set further down the line?

Copy all your music onto an ipod, buy a holder which sits on the air vent next to your steering wheel, buy a cassette to ipod adaptor, plug it all in, bingo.

Wife just calls, im in the office which overlooks the M4, she says "look out the window at the road" - so i do and my Zed cruises by with her driving it.

I simply said "put the phone down and concentrate on the road woman!" - although kudos for the thought.

When washing during the day I do seem to attract the attention of 30 something women walking along with kids who seem to like to stop for a chat...

Stuck my Astra on AutoTrader, Pistonheads, gumtree and an Astra forum.

I got interest from the Forum, Gumtree and Pistonheads - it was the Pistonheads ad that finally sold it. AutoTrader I have used to try sell cars before and it's pretty useless, never had a viewing using that. Had a Corsa before the Astra and sold it via Gumtree.
