  1. Tanabe Medalion exhaust and 'Y' pipe for the 370. I'm just about to order the above so if anyone else is thinking about it thets try and get some discount! Cheers, Scotty
  2. Thinking of having the 370Z lowered using Eibachs. Has anybody had their 370Z lowered? Did it make much of a difference to the handling and looks. Does the wheel alignment need adjusting once the springs have been fitted? Cheers, Scotty
  3. 330 miles from me in Leicestershire
  4. I'm looking to lose the stock exhaust and fit a Stillen Cat Back system soonish and was wondering if anyone who has the Stillen noticed any increase in performance. The figures quoted for the Stillen are a 18 BHP increase. Did anyone notice an increase in performance or did it just make the 370Z look and sound better? Thanks, Scotty
  5. I had a really strong smell of clutch at around 200 miles. I've now done 700 miles and have had no further issues. The smell of clutch that I had at 200 miles was where I was on a steep incline and I think the uphill start support system kicked in, so maybe something to do with that? Cheers, Scotty.
  6. Thanks for the info Chris. Have since done some digging around on the internet and found this American website http://www.nissan-techinfo.com/deptog.aspx?dept_id=30 which has the latest owners manuals including the 2011 manual which actually tells me about the DVD player, Hard drive and so on. Looks like Uncle Sam gets the latest manuals but we don't
  7. Picked the new 370 up last week and am thinking I might not have the latest owners manuals. The two manuals I have are the owners manual printed in April 2009 and the Navigation System manual printed in January 2010. If anyone who has recently bought a new 370 could check their manuals to see the print date (on the back cover) I would really appreciate it as I get the feeling the stealer might try to fob me off! (be it at his peril)! Many thanks, Scotty
  8. It looks like the latest cars have 328PS which after using a quick online conversion tool is telling me the BHP figure is 323.5. Hopefully if I change the exhaust to the Stillen I should see 340+BHP (if Stillen's figures are correct).
  9. As I've got the roadside recovery and don't do much milage I've decided to lose the wrench and towing hook which meant there was then no need for the side boot mouldings they sat in. This still left the large central moulding to house the Compressor,Sealent and Locking wheel nut key. Total weight saving= 1.8kg Now that's what you call OCD
  10. I've just picked up my new 370Z GT and have noticed in the boot area some empty spaces in the polystyrene where I assume some tools should be. The tools I've got are Continental air compressor and tyre sealent, recovery hook, wrench and locking wheel nut and thats it. Is there anything missing? It just seems like there are loads of empty spaces in the polystyrene mouldings where I assume tools should be. Cheers, Scotty
  11. Thanks for the info Chris.
  12. I pick my new 370 up on Wednesday and having read a few posts on here will be looking at changing the exhaust to the Stillen offering. I believe they can be bought direct from Stillen across the pond and was wondering if anyone could let me know what the final cost was including carriage, import duty and taxes but excluding fitting? Cheers, Scotty
  13. I had a choice of silver, blue or grey and chose Twilight Grey in the end. This will be the best car I've ever owned and 2nd March can't come round soon enough. Going from 160PS to 328PS I'm sure will be worth the outlay. You only live once! Many thanks from all the members for their welcome messages and will try to post some pics soon. Cheers, Scotty
  14. under 29K ??? prices I'm being quoted are over 32K !!! Try Chorley Nissan. Really nice guys and gave me a top price on my MX5.
  15. Hi to everyone on this forum. I wasn't looking to change my MX5 but when I saw brand new 370Z GT's with Nissan Connect for under £29k I decided to test drive one. The rest is history and I pick the car up next Wedenesday. Can't wait! Cheers, Scotty
