  2. All explained in here: http://www.splparts.com/chassis-Z33.html Come to Wembley today to my warehouse and see for yourself
  3. I've seen many sets of coilovers, can't say I have the greatest experience, but the quality of workmanship on the KW v3 it's amazing. Stainless steel, extra reservoir, etc. Have a read here: http://www.kw-suspension.com/us/kw_faqs.php
  4. My ex setup explained here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/71454-octet-suspension-setup/ I liked the SPL as you can see, if I will upgrade anything suspension wise on my new 370z it will be SPL parts + KW V3 coilovers, nothing else, no compromise. Otherwise I'll stick to OEM.
  5. Now back to your holiday! Need the engine cover please
  6. FOR SALE - Polished OEM strutbar for 350z with red mounts. £50 delivered Mainland UK or collection from Wembley.
  7. FOR SALE - H-Dev Grounding Kit in red for 350z fitted only a 2 months ago, as new condition. This grounding kit can help smooth out engine idle and give better throttle response. To judge whether the grounding kit would make any difference we chose to measure the signal from the air flow meter at the ECU (in the passenger footwell) and also the noise present at the throttle body, with the engine idling. I've got a laptop based osciloscope that we used to record the signals. First we took some measurements of the air flow meter signal at the ECU and voltage at the throttle body without the additional grounds. Results below. We then added 4 grounding cables - 2 cables from the battery ground body connection to the inlet plenum and the front of the engine at the same point as a loom earth. And 2 cables from the left hand side of the engine to the body. Pictures below. We were really surprised to see that the additional grounds did reduce the noise at the AFM and throttle body quite a bit. Also, I've driven the car and it does seem smoother when coming on and off the throttle in the lower gears.
  8. FOR SALE - MEISTER R Zeta S coilovers used for less than 5000 miles. Front Coilovers Top Mount: Aluminum with Rubber Bush Springs Rate: 10kg/mm Rear Coilovers Top Mount: Aluminum with Rubber Bush Spring Rate: 8kg/mm ZETA (ζ) is the symbol for “damping ratioâ€, a measurement describing how oscillations in a system die down after a disturbance. The ability to control oscillations is the most important function of a suspension system. The MeisterR Zeta-S is designed with the concept of precision damping ratio that provides flexible control. Zeta-S is engineered to give the right amount of damping for a sporty drive over all type of surfaces whilst providing quick and easy adjustment to handle circuit use. Damping Adjustment 32 Levels of damping adjustments (compression and rebound) allows easy and precision control of the damping to cater for your style and road conditions Aluminium Top-Mount* Anodised Aluminium top-mount with “harden†rubber bush. The “harden†bush replace the standard OE rubber bush and provide better steering response while absorbing road vibration and noise. Monotube Dampers High Pressure gassed monotube dampers with large diameter and short-stroke pistons provides rapid damping response and prolong performance under stress. Black Chromium Plated Damper Thread The threaded damper body is plated with a new age “Black Chromiumâ€. This plating have been tested in a salt spray test under ASTM B117 Standard for 120 hours with no sign of corrosion. Heavy Duty Rubber Boot Dirt are kept out of the damper cylinder with a heavy duty rubber boot. This will prolong the life and the performance of the dampers. High Performance Springs High Grade SAE9254 Steel are coil coiled to the exact springs specification. This process ensure strength and durability. The springs are then powder coated and marked with its specification for easy identification. Perches and Collar Light weight anodized aluminum spring perches and locking collar allows precise adjustment of the Springs’ pre-load. Polyamides isolators are included to reduce noise. Lower Bracket Light weight anodized aluminum bracket are use to reduce weight and allow independent adjustment of the ride height. High Strength double wall design steel bracket are used with MacPherson Strut Suspension for added strength and durability.
  9. FOR SALE - SPL PRO V3 Front Upper Arms for 350z used for just under 2000 miles, virtually new, in perfect condition! Best front camber arms for the 350z! SPL PRO v3 front upper arms allow for camber adjustment for the front of your 350Z and G35. Our shim stack system won't slip, and allows for quick, easy and repeatable camber adjustment that can be user adjusted for street/track dual duty use, or for fine tuning at the track. CNC machined from billet T6061 aluminum, our arms are lightweight yet stronger and stiffer. USA made FK racing bearings feature a teflon liner to provide quiet operation, lower friction, smoother articulation and eliminates bushing deflection under load. The liner is also self-lubricating and self-cleaning, offering robust reliability for street and track use. Camber adjustment range is -2.5deg to +1deg relative to stock arm; most cars will see actual on-car camber adjustment range of -4deg to -0.5deg, depending on ride height. 11. Some more interesting stuff from GTM: 1. GTR Manifold Conversion We are happy to announce our GTM GTR intake manifold conversion. Our custom cast lower intake manifold has a smooth transition from the VHR cylinder head ports to the GTR’s upper intake plenum. This allows the factory GTR upper plenum to be installed on the VHR engine. For those wondering why we embarked on this, we noticed that the factory plastic manifold on the VHR would start to swell under higher boost pressures. The GTR’s cast aluminum plenum will not. Also, the GTR has a larger twin plenum design as opposed to the slimmer single plenum design on the factory VHR manifold. Generally, larger plenums will develop more torque than smaller plenums. Also, due to the small inside diameter of the OEM fuel rails, we are offering a higher volume fuel rail system that comes in -6 or -8. The fuel rail system can be used with the factory style returnless setup or as a full return fuel system for higher power cars. This conversion kit can be used for forced induction or NA. Details and pricing here: http://www.gtmotorsp...&cat=254&page=1 2. GTM High Capacity Oil Pan w/oil baffling system (8qts) We're happy to announce our newly developed High Capacity Oil Pan. 14. One in five motorists 'have driven while on drugs' Nearly one in five motorists has driven under the influence of illegal or prescription drugs, a survey suggests. The study for comparison website Confused.com also indicated that the number of people convicted of drug-driving went down last year. Seven per cent of the 2,000 motorists asked said they had driven under the influence of illegal drugs such as cannabis, cocaine or ecstasy. Ministers are planning new laws next year to crack down on drug-drivers. Medical advice Twelve per cent of those surveyed said they had driven under the influence of drugs prescribed by their doctor. These could include some painkillers or hay fever remedies that can make people drowsy. More than half of those asked admitted that they did not always read the leaflet that comes with the medicine, which often gives advice on whether people should drive. BBC transport correspondent Richard Westcott said the survey was one of several over recent years that suggest drug-driving is a problem. The government said it was getting tough on drug driving, promising that legislation planned for next year would save hundreds of lives and could land thousands of drivers caught under the influence of drugs with a large fine or even a prison sentence. The plans to make it easier to prosecute people who drive under the influence of drugs in England and Wales were unveiled by the government last month. Low limits The proposals would introduce a new offence of driving with a drug in the body, above a certain limit. Ministers said the legislation would remove the difficulty of proving a driver was impaired by drugs, which is the case at the moment. The government proposes including eight illegal drugs - cannabis, ecstasy, cocaine, ketamine, benzoylecgonine (primary metabolite of cocaine), methamphetamine, LSD and 6-monoacetylmorphine (heroin and diamorphine), for which allowable limits would be set very low. And it is proposing higher limits for eight other controlled drugs that have medical uses. These are clonazepam, diazepam, flunitrazepam, lorazepam, methadone, morphine, oxazepam and temazepam. Police would be able to carry out up to three preliminary saliva tests and, if positive, require a blood sample to be taken. The government is consulting on which drugs should be included and what the limits for each should be. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-23543938
