  5. First with Glyn Hopkin in Watford, lost my undertray on M1 and did not have any brakes because they did not bleed them properly, never went back to them again. 8. Don't know what is going on with this forum, stuff from brands like Nismo, Fast Intentions, Brembo etc use to fly off the shelves within minutes back into 2010 when I've joined, now stays here for weeks or months...
  9. Taras received the recall letter but hasn't had a chance to book the car in. (read: he didn't give a flying duck taking the car to Nissan, but can't blame him after today, can I? :lol )
  10. "On Thursday 28th March 2013 the campaign (ref. P3208) was loaded onto dealer computer systems. Cars that qualify for the campaign are early 370Z and GT-R models which have steering locks 48700-JF00B and 48700-JF00C. These would be replaced with the most recent item 48700-JF00D. From this point, any failed steering locks would be replaced free of charge and any cars going in for a service would automatically have the lock replaced."
  11. That's what I'm saying, why calling me in, waste my time, when they could have just requested the VIN / chassis number and find out if it needed parts to be replaced. To me it looks very fishy, I guess they didn't want to bother.
  12. Kit removed, vinyl will be removed and it will be prepared for spraying
  13. How to have your car checked by Nissan dealership for a recall on steering lock: 1. Book appointment with WMLG Mill Hill (after half an hour conversation, where you have to explain there is a recall, see previous posts) 2. Drive the car in, go to the reception. 3. A lady comes and tell you to sit down, get coffee or tea and takes your key 4. 4 minutes later a front desk guy in white shirt comes to tell you your car is fine, there is no recall on it or it has already been fixed (after I've been called to have the car done) 5. You explain the problem again, show links and text from Nissan GB 6. He then goes, hands the key to a Nissan "technician" (I guess), he drives the car round the back, still outside in the court yard, reads the chassis number and goes away 7. He comes back after few minutes, drives the car back in the front and had over the keys to the front desk guy 8. Front desk guy comes back to me, says the car has been thoroughly checked and it's absolutely fine, the parts number fitted correspond to what it should be, according to the recall 9. Go home, check the recording and watch very surprised how the car hast just been driven round the back without being put on the ramp, opening the bonnet, etc. Am I stupid or this is very wrong? What to do next? Short version video available here:
