  1. Do you have an fuel pressure gauge? How's the pressure? Also try resetting the ECU but removing the ground on the battery and re-connect it. How old is the battery, perhaps needs changing?
  2. Once we've finished my car, we've then put Rob's car on the ramp and change his mid pipe with Darren's modified version, without silencer: All done, car off the ramp, went for a quick test drive, sounds much nicer! More to come next year, need to change the front tie rods with the SPL ones and the tyres with the MPSS. Once the weather improves, the car should be all ready for fun moments Happy New year everybody, have a cracking party and I wish you all a marvellous year ahead!
  3. Thanks guys, we'll get some suspension packages and oil cooling kits ready ASAP. Anything else?
  4. Time for a little update. Yesterday we went at the play ground again (read RT-Performance) while Taras was away skiing in some remote corner or Europe Me, DarrenB, Modjo and Roberto28, fresh meat addition to the team Santa brought some new engine mounts and an a new oil cap: Car on the ramp we start removing bits and bobs to be able to get access to the engine mounts. Accessing the top nuts it's a PITA when you have the turbos and piping work on the way. Passenger side wasn't that bad, within few minutes we managed to get the old mounts out: Driver side... well... that's a long story We had to release the ARB, the belt, remove the alternator, remove the coolant tank and washer fluid so we can remove the radiator fans and so on. One jubilee clip from the return line on the turbo came off and we lost a little bit of oil. Loooooong story New mounts in: Time for some pizza, drinks and deserts We've then cut the oil return pipe and Darren weld it at a different angle as it was touching the steering column:

Fabricated entirely of stainless steel and designed for maximum power gains by using a combination of dual 2.5" and dual 3.0" stainless steel tubing. Dual 2.5" diameter primary tubes of the XYZ pipe inlets are optimized for diameter and length to yield maximum low end to upper midrange power and torque. Dual 3.0" exhaust tubes from the midpipe muffler on back are used to route the exhaust flow to the back of the vehicle for minimizing flow resistance and yielding maximum high RPM power.. The progressive expansion of tube diameter and exhaust flow area optimizes pulse scavenging while minimizing flow resistance and pressure drop. The result is maximum power and torque for NA and FI applications up to 700 HP. When used with the Motordyne ART test pipes the complete system design starts at dual 2 1/4 inch diameter at the ART pipe inlet and progressively expands to dual 3" flow tubes. Dual 2.25" diffused to dual 2.5" and then diffused to 3.0". This design provides the highest performance with an unusually powerful and low pitch exhaust tone. 11. Good start, Ryan, welcome to the forum! What are your plans regarding the power and handling? Adrian
  12. Sorry to hear this, Rob! Hope the Police deals with the other driver and his insurance pays up quickly. Adrian
  13. Hi OllyB, I understand your view, of course. There are a million factors that can influence the longevity of the engine before and after it has been supercharged. Naming just a few: bad maintenance, wrong oil type, bad tuning map, using wrong fuel etc Who tuned your car before it went bang and what sort of power / torque were you running? Is there a build thread in here? Also, have to bare in mind that unlike few years ago where the 350z was still over £10k, you can now source an engine for less than £1k in case something goes bang. Is not like the risk is huge, comparing to risking a £30k new 370z
  14. Hi Pritchard, Please find your answers bellow: Yes, that is correct. No standalone ECU required, you only need an UpRev license and map adjustment. Both will be provided by the tuner. The Vortech V3 is way quieter than the V2 kit that I had installed on my 350z. There are quite a few people in here runing the V3 kit. Obviously your car won't sound like stock OEM car, but it's not going to sound bad / broken / agricultural You will get to love the sound in time and enjoy it together with the power it makes. Once you drive a FI 350z you won't want to drive a stock 350z ever again. No thicker headgasket required, but I would advise also fitting a plenum spacer if you don't have one already. Beside no 7 - M-Spec R-Rydes V2 1 Piece Vortech Charge Pipe - which is more a cosmetic upgrade, rather than having 3 pipes with 2 joins, all are required to achieve power figures, run smoothley and safer. The intercooler, oil cooler and some of the pipe work will sit inside the front bumper, it will fit the OEM bumper, so I don't think we would have any problems fitting inside the new bumper. What bumper you're having done at RT Performance? Any more questions please fire them up here or via PM. Adrian
  15. @Jp606, just have a browse on the US 370z forum, I've posted some links in the TORQEN threads, you'll soon find out the Stillen supporting mods are just crap @OllyB, where did your engine gone bang, on the road or on the dyno? Who tuned your car? @Bodyboarder81 & @nissanman312, you just need to look at the amount of people that have ran or still run FI zeds on here, not a lot of engine gone bang after having the FI, however we've seen more NA engines going bang this year than ever before. It really comes down to the tune, where it starts and how it's being improved and controlled by the tuner while on dyno. There is also a thread on here about FI reliability, have a look on that aswell. At the end of the day, for both 350z and 370z I had/have, it was down to creating a car with my signature on it, otherwise I could have bought a GT-R and never touch it. I love and enjoy modifying cars, not a fan of BMW M or resale Porsche Carrera cars at all
