  1. You star! and thanks for the ultra quick reply! Wonder if I could get the cupboard bit off a non-GT and replace the bose setup then... or at least part of it..
  2. Hi Danny Once I've finished my installation I'd be more than willing to help out - based in Bridgend/work in Cardiff Craig
  3. Hi All Does anyone know whether I could possible remove the bose sub and replace the space with the cupboard (just like the passenger side)? I'm then planning on moving a decent (or better) sub to the rear boot If it is possible then does anyone know where I could possible pick up the parts to do this?
  4. These still available? if so please add me to the list
  5. Who managed to beat me on it! gits! lol
  6. Hi All - well I've had the car for some time now, posted a few times on the site, bought some bits & bobs (not fitted yet!) so thought it was onyl fair to get some pics up! Think this is the right section but apologies if not (didn't want to resurrect my ancient "hello" post in welcome). So here's Kenzo - my 350Z GT 2006 with factory Nismo kit For the fine-tuned eyes among us you'll notice a Scorpion cat-back exhaust on the rear - this was already on there prior to the purchase. Now I've got a new stereo, plenum, tonnes of carbon film to go on and a load of ideas - just need the time and weather! Hopefully it'll be going through a colour change real soon (vinyl wrap) - especially having come from a Jaffa Focus ST (320bhp!) Enjoy anyway!
  7. I was more worried about the custom made 6pot brakes! I'll have a go at most things but don't fancy playing with brakes - I know I'd rather a brand I kow! Lol
  8. Excellent news! No rush if you've got other things to do - but if you've got one I'll take it off your hands whenever suits you Thanks Craig
  9. Hi Tarmac Have you any polished PS in stock? Would love to swap/pick one off you! Craig
  10. BulletMagnet - they look awesome! The exact plan I have! Meanwhile thanks both for really useful information - didn't expect responses so quick! Thank you (and keep fingers, toes and god knows what else crossed for me! lol)
  11. Love threads like this - tis great to see the progress on one thread! Mind me asking where/how you got the plenum polished? this is something I'd like to do along with the carbon cover
  12. Hi All I fancy having a go at di-noc 'ing my door leccy bits as they look tatty as ever! If it works then I'll do a few more bits (like b-pillars, struct brace cover, etc.). However having not done it before I was wondering if anyone else had and would share some knowledge on the topic. Fear not I'll never (nor want to) go into mass market so if any of the pros want to help I'd be grateful Couple of queries - do I need to really stretch the di-noc over the bits? do I really need to heat gun if I've got enough vinyl? Finally with the door bits being a bit "rubbery" do I need to sand these down first or can I apply the vinyl straight to these after giving a good clean with alcohol wipes or similar? Sorry there is so many questions!
  13. Marzman - oh didn't think of that - that's a good idea (and easier to do!).... Kevlo - I bought them off Ebay Taiwan - fai rplay they arrived quicker than 3/4 of the stuff I order form UK suppliers and really well packed! Here's a link: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Corse-Autospor ... 34.c0.m322 Hope this helps Craig
  14. Hi All Purchased some DLR side markets for my uprev model and just wondering if anyone could give me any help/guidance on wiring them up to the ignition "on". I.e. I only want them to come on when I start the car (I'm actually also going to put a switch in the circuit to knock them off when required). How or where can I access the ignition live in the engine bay (as I don't really want to have to the one off the stereo). Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance Craig
  15. Thank you for the quick reply! Now ordered and hopefully arriving shortly :-)
  16. Superb! This is the exact setup I plan to do (even the same stereo!) Thanks! Craig
  17. Hi All I've got a 2006 up-rev model (with the hazard switch above the gear-knob) and plan to remove the current BOSE stereo and replace with a Pioneer double-din. However I'm not sure which fascia I need - do I need the post-06 one or can use the pre-06 )I know that my car is 06 but thought that maybe the uprec still uses the original features). Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Craig
  18. Hi Tarmac Any ideas on when you hope to have another batch? keen to add these to my 350z as well Thanks Craig
  19. Hi All Thanks for the kind welcome! Pics will go up tonight promise! Meanwhile I'm from Bridgend though back and for to Cardiff (main place of work). Looks like quite a few welsh folk (hurrah) - we'll all have to arrange a meet
  20. Hi all Well I've finally joined the 350 club after god knows how long thinking of it! Lol Having been a ford man for over 14 years and 10 of those with four different focus - the last being a 310bhp focus st3 it was time I tried real wheel drive and jap Back in jan I posted how I was looking, but insurance quickly ended the search (my company wouldn't cover me) - however with my insurance coming up for renewal a gorgeous z available I bit the bullit! So I'm now the proud owner of an 06 up rev 350 GT grey - but it gets better it's got the nismo kit and scorpion exhaust! Bargain! Need to get some pics up but looking forward to making new friends, modding the Z and attending shows and meets! Already had a good look around the forum and have built up a large list of "wants" lol
  21. Wow! Thanks for the quick and friendly replies! Looks like a really positive forum which is always great! I'll have a better trawl around the forum to find some more out - think I was being a bit lazy (read eager) to get the info! At least now I have an idea to spot the 313! I'll report back shortly!! Meanwhile I'll find a few pics of "Jaffa" and will get them up here asap! Thanks gain for the warm welcome!
  22. Hi from a fellow South Wales counterpart! lol Love the car! But have one question - I'm sure I've seen tht car before - mind me asking if you purchased it from a place in Pencoed? If so - you lucky person! Was looking at it but noticed it had already been sold! Craig
  23. Hi All! I'm Craig, 32 from South Wales! Been a Ford man through and through and help run the FFOC club. Currently a Focus ST owner (don't knock it! 310bhp and 380lb torque ) - love the power and what it gives but after ownership for 4 years I'm looking for something a bit different! Binned the ideas of an S2000 (too old!), BMW Z4 coupe (drove like a wet lettuce), TT (too feminine!), S15 Silva (too much work) - but always loved the 350z looks (and can't quite afford a 370!!) so have been slowly and painfully looking through AutoTrader and alike.... However confusion has struck in! Various adverts are advertising 3 different "bhp" versions of the 350!?!?!!? a 280, 300 or 313? do these all exist? how do I know which one is which? I'm keen to to get the later 313 version and hopefully a GT version (I'm hoping my investigations are correct and this is indeed the "top" model available!) Can't decide on colours so keeping options open! Looking for advice, and some guidance on how to pick a "good un", what to look out for and of course - I doubt I'll keep it standard long (couldn't with the Focus!) Thanking you all in anticipation!
