  1. The roads are magic... I lived in Grasse for 15 years.

Once you move away from the coast there are miles of stunning roads to drive on.

Look for Chateauneuf to gourdon (11th century fort). (Top Gear road)

The route Napoleon is empty most of the time if you go in April - May or after September.

If you go in the summer the traffic can be bad on the cote d' Azur. The coast road from

St. Tropez to Cannes and Antibes is brutal from June to the beginning of August.

Monaco is very near and the views are spectacular.

The mountain roads near Isola 2000 and Auron are not for the faint hearted. :teeth:

Worst mistake of my life was leaving there.

For most of the sport d'glisse, it's a great place to be based.

You'll have a better experience is you can speak a bit of french.

  2. I've got a multipolicy for an Infinifi FX35 and a 2006 350 Z GT. Admiral wanted £875 for the Infiniti by itself.

With the multi car policy it went down to £575 and when I renew my insurance on my Z it will only be £291 (Currently 680 for the year)

No idea how they calculate the prices, but I'm fairly happy with them :) To be fair, I'm fairly wrinkly now (49) I've only got the one SP30 and zero no claims bonus. :teeth:

  3. Totally safe. I use it myself. It will extract the DVD to your hard drive.

you will need between 4.7 and 10GB of free space depending on the DVD.

The file structure will be the same the DVD.

You can play it with a media player.

If you install the "CCCP Codecs" http://www.cccp-project.net/ you will get all the codecs you need, and a couple of media players.

You can convert it to another format, to reduce the size. use handbrake. http://handbrake.fr/downloads.php

    All Free...... :)

  4. Hi All , Had my 06 Gun metal Grey UK GT since the summer. I still get a grin every time I start the engine.

Took 12 minutes from the purchase of the car to my first speeding ticket in 24 years in the UK (101 mph) :bang:

Currently it lives in Switzerland, Had snow tyres on since November and I've had no problems getting about.

They have proper snow there, not this girly stuff you have here. :teeth:

Just about to buy an Infiniti FX35 'cos my Snowboards are too big for the Zed (Heliskiing loon)

Really interested in Track days and FI. Got my Zed cheap so I've got some spending money to make it go faster.

Might have to learn how to drive first

On a slightly more technical note I tried to sign up twice before with different email accounts.

Look like the confirmation http string had been stripped out of the confirmation emails.

Yes, I am a geek and I'm proud of it :D
