Can't say with 100% certainty, but I am pretty sure when on auto, mine also goes from DRL to headlights. So sounds OK to me

Put the V8 in the Pickup
Didn't you make a thread a while back talking about making a pickup 350z?.....
This is the perfect time surely. Wang the V8 in the front, chop a load of metal off the back.
Done.

**Lots of pictures of a broken engine**
All I took out of that update was the fact there is now a hole in the front of the car, ready for you to drop the LS in

I bought my Ark from a chap and had it delivered. I believe it was £60, and it came in 2 boxes. When I sold my system I arranged for that to be delivered to the new owner, that was 3 boxes and I believe was circa £100.

The car was registered in 2017 and finished in Pearl White. The car has been maintained fully by my local Nissan dealer who are a Performance Centre. I am the first and only owner of the car. Other than the minimal splash of fuel in the car from factory, the car has been run 100% exclusively on Shell V-Power. The car is in superb condition inside and out, gets cleaned almost every weekend, also had a recent trip to our local vehicle detailer ready for my wedding.
All us the usual features are available on this model:
- Rev matching on down shift
- Keyless entry & start
- Auto lights & Wipers
- Navigation
- BT calls/audio
- Etc
To note:
- Car has covered 22k miles
- Engine used gently for first 1,500 miles followed by oil & filter change at Nissan
- Still has over 12 months warranty remaining with Nissan
- Will have 3rd service at Nissan before new owner collects the car
- FULL Front end paint protection wrap performed with 12 miles on the clock. Front bumper, wings, full bonnet and full roof all wrapped with self healing protective film.
- All 4 tyres were replaced less than 1k miles ago
- As this is the MKII it has (arguably) the better bumpers and styling, along with Recaro seats
Services:
Nissan - 1,500 miles - Oil & Filter after engine run in
Nissan - 9,503miles - service 1
Nissan - 18,863miles - service 2
Nissan - TBC miles - service 3
During my ownership I have made a number of minor modifications to the car. All upgrades are 100% reversible, and any removed OEM parts will be included in the sale for the new owner.
- ARK Grip V2 Stainless Steel Catback exhaust (OEM Nismo exhaust has very limited miles)
- K&N Panel Air Filters and cleaning spray (OEM filters included, near new)
- Illuminated ‘Z’ door sills
- Tinted windows and sun strip
- A Pillars wrapped gloss black
- GTR Start button
- Nissan DAB Radio module (links to USB mode on stereo)
- Genuine floor mats
- Gloss Black Z Badges
- DIY Nismo side decals along lower doors
- Smoked LED rear foglight (multi function)
- Rear wiper & Nozzle delete
I have also painted the door handles in gloss black, along with the genuine Rays alloys being painted in a gunmetal grey. I was not a fan of the diamond cut edges from Nissan, and they didn’t hold up well against the weather and looked poor quite early into my ownership. The wheels were painted less than 1k miles ago and needless to say they are still in perfect condition.
Private plate will be removed in due course and car will be issued a new plate from the DVLA.
I’ll let the pictures do the talking here, but any questions please feel free to message me.
Car is located 20 mins from Bournemouth, Dorset.
Stock car - £24,000
With all mods listed - £25,000

Something is very wrong there then, tbh. Our Scoob only has 320bhp, but it’s always felt the quickest thing to drive by some margin including my old Bmw which was almost exactly the same pace as a 350. Most likely due to the power delivery from the turbo than outright power alone.
An auto Evo (man, who on earth though that was ever a good idea?!) should be even more so. Either it’s broken, or you didn’t feel comfortable pushing it properly, or that SST gearbox wrecks the experience so much.
From the sound of it, you’d be wasting your money with a supercharged Zed.
Dare I say it, I agree with Dan
Yes OK it was manual, but my wife used to run an Evo V with circa 390bhp. It was the quickest car I've driven my a country mile, and you really felt it when you plant the loud pedal! I've owned a 400bhp Supra and the Evo felt WAY quicker.
Either the guy doesn't have 400bhp or the autobox/newer car really dulled down the power experience.

Cat back is 100% worth it. Totally transforms the car.
Fake engine noises - from my last google on it, it's possible to turn them off but must be done by a dealer/someone with access to the Nissan SW.i think it's called command or something. Using this SW you/they can go in and turn it off. I haven't got around to taking the car to Nissan and asking about it yet.

Did you by any chance have that done in Ferndown? When they did mine they mentioned someone had theirs polished there?
I might have you beat though ( gonna go take a pic to show you :P yes I have all the pistons n cranks too, just needed them in this fashion once the "kids" came along )Yeah had the block powder coated & polished by the Wheel Specialist. I think I remember us talking about this when I originally posted it Your v8 blocks are smart

Smart guy, I love both items. Must be a market for you to make and sell these ?. Have you not considered it ?.
I did consider it when making the engine, but there is a lot of work involved by other folks (getting the block polished, painted etc), and all takes time. However I do still think of making a couple more up.
I am also toying with selling the engine table in the lounge, and leaving the new F1 table up in the man cave.
