    Hi again,

Can anyone comment on the model year changes at least? Is it true I should be looking at post-2012 cars for the oil pressure issues fixed?

Happy hunting mate, be sure to get some pictures up if you find one.

Yes, it was either 2011 or 2012 (sorry can't be more help), where Nissan upgraded the oil gallery gaskets. Anything newer than that you'll be safe :)

    White GT Auto ordered.

If only we had an Auto Nismo option in UK

My OH works for Nissan and a customer recently ordered a white GT Auto (I believe he wasn't able to drive manual), but then ordered up all of the Nismo bodykit pieces and got Nissan to fit them before collection. Likely not the cheapest route directly from the dealer, but you could look to do this to yours :)

This may help you - fiat 750 marron volciano

I looked at this colour when getting mine done but as it was powder coat the colour was way off. Yours looks really really good!! Is that just a matt lacquer finish? I'm getting the Nismo wheels done this year and bronze is a big contender again.

This was my old 370. I had the wheels done in BMW Sepang Bronze, matt finish. Close ish to the Volk colour, perhaps a little dirtier.

  4. Not massively helpful, as my example isn't ARK....but....sharing is caring...

I ran a Berk CBE with ART test pipes and it was LOUD! Cold start was brutal and I'm surprised my neighbours didn't say anything. Some times when trundling off the drive the resonance would set off the car alarm on the Evo. Once it was warm the volume was a bit better, but I didn't like the tone. It was just noise for the sake of the noise, as opposed to a nice V6 tone.

That being said I followed my old 370 recently which is running ARK CBE and now Berk HFC's and it sounded fantastic! :)

Outstanding. A long way down my to do list, good job you're plenty busy. Am I right in assuming that you have added the 'ball cushion ' to the passenger seat? Only normally the drivers that has that isn't it? I'd want that too.

    Ball cushion!!! :lol::lol::lol:

Made my night that has :D

  6. Sorry to see this. Hopefully she comes back fighting fit again. Good job you had it on camera :)

I have run a front facing cam for over a year now but keep thinking of getting a rear also. Do you have any info on the one you have? I've had a look around previously, but wasn't sure how it would work with such a slope on the rear screen. Thanks :)

Yeah it was only a £175 cheapy, I've only have the car a month and with the amount of times I've heard the expression " marmite car "  I thought the plate would be apt .

I'm not a fan of the plate, but know all too well plates are very personal.

I hope you didn't buy this from the link you posted in your first post? Including DVLA fee's it's £287, not £175.

    It's £250 direct from DVLA.

or maybe do the 350z pickup thing that I have always thought would be a fun project.

Stop talking, do this! NOW!!....also, I call shotgun!!

On a serious side, you are very much one for the build and progress side of the project (much like me, when I used to have money!....man weddings are expensive). Personally, I'd say the 370 is done, so would sell on and get another fun project that will keep you busy and give you something to enjoy on the roads. If you get the 70 wrapped or painted....then what....new bodykit, change the wheels? Meh :)

Get a 350, power up the angle grinder, give me a call :D

  9. Shipping spacers fitted to the front suspension (to stop the car moving during transport). Many threads all over Google. If you turn the wheel full lock and look up to the suspension you may or may not see a black plastic bit between 2 or 3 spring coils. Only on the front.

  10. Doesn't (AFAIK) drain the battery. I think that slot is used when your fob battery is low so you can still start the car. Someone can correct me here :)

For day to day use you don't need to use that slot. My key lives in my laptop back, put bag in the boot or passenger foot well, then just start the car pressing the button :D
