As Rich says, the 912 is a 'Touring' tyre, whereas the 452 is a 'Sports' tyre. For the 350Z, I'd recommend the 452, as the 912 won't give you the performance you're used to with the OEM tyres.

Yep, looked in all the usual places so far. I'm going to wait for one to come up, but just in case there's one I miss, I thought I'd post, too. I emailed the chap with that 52k miler, but he came across a bit... Chavvy. Am I allowed to say that?

I'm after a well looked after 350Z, and am looking for a UK car with less than 50k miles. I will consider any colour combination, but I am ideally looking for a GT. I'm not bothered which wheels are on it, and I will consider cars with stereo and/or exhaust modifications. It must have a full service history as per schedule, including the brake fluid, coolant and spark plug changes on schedule. I am looking to spend no more than £8500.

Just had a proper look and it's (IMO) expensive for the mileage and age. I'm sure something nice will come up soon, though I'm worried with the early cars around 7 years old, most of them will be in awful condition. Too many people that haven't looked after them!

Ha! Funnily enough, as we were driving down the dual carriageway, Jen said "Oh look, a 350Z! For sale!" I couldn't really be bothered though after the trip down - was pretty knackered having got up at 6am!

We didn't even look at it for much longer than 10 minutes. It had cracked front and rear bumpers, and was well below minimum fluid for the power steering. That was enough to send me packing. I'll keep looking!

Paul came with me to see a 350Z today and stopped me buying what would have been an awful car! If he wasn't with me, I may have bought it! So, thanks again Paul. Remember I owe you one Egg McMuffin, as negotiated!

I would highly recommend the Admiral group. I was with Bell for 2 or 3 years, and had no problems, including when someone hit into my parked Z4. They sorted it with no problems.

Thanks Alex. I take it these aren't a serviceable item and it's just an item to replace when/if you need it?

Didn't realise you ever had to replace belts on a Z?

I think the Archos 7 is 7", although don't quote me on it! Could be good for an ICE install too!

I don't know much about them, but all I can suggest is to not buy the cheap ones (c.£100) as they tend to be really slow from what I've heard. Stick with an established brand, too. The only cheap one I know that is apparently pretty good is the Archos 7. If your budget stretches further, you may want to look at the Samsung Galaxy or the Dell Streak.

Do you know what, it's far less interesting than you may be hoping for!! When I started using forums many many years ago, I couldn't think of a forum name I would like to use. I just thought of Pulse, and it's just kind of stuck ever since! I wish it was more interesting than that!

We shall see! I hope so, but then I won't be too disappointed if it doesn't. The Z4 was £10k more!
