  1. That's great news Marra, congratulations Hope you both have a fantastic day and an even better life together. All the Best
  2. Hello & Shouldn't be too hard to spot that tidy looking example about.
  3. Excellent, that's some work in progress. You've definitely got the modding bug then......
  4. Nice one mate. Looks and sounds like you are well chuffed with the results. What's next.......?
  5. Pedal received today, cracking service. It is just a 5 min job to change over....... However, be prepared to spend another 30 mins with the cleaning stuff, wire-wool and autosol. It don't look right with one sparkling pedal and the others a bit grubby. Thankfully the foot-rest easily removes by 5 screws.
  6. Hi mate, hows the injury? you recovered? sounds superb, low rumble on tick over then when you give it some Deffo have to get a wee get together sorted as Andy says Recovered yeah, but it will be next year before I jump on a bike or rugby pitch in anger. I'll be around for another 1.5 weeks before I'm away again so even if it's a static meet just for you to show off your mods, thats fine by me
  7. Looking well by the way with all the sound to match. Bet you can't wait until Friday, an Uprev will certainly compliment those mods! Hopefully get to hear it soon as like Andrew says, a small meet-up should be in order. It acts as a reminder to me to get my finger out and sort an exhaust for myself. A few weeks ago I had to have a small bit of welding on the usual suspect rear flange to back box before it's MOT, so it's about time the oem exhaust went. My mechanic did recommend going dual but I was thinking it may be too loud for me - or maybe I'm just getting old before my time.......
  8. Cheers pal. Back in the driving seat next week Can't wait
  9. Yeah, i'm ok now cheers. I've been unable to drive for a few weeks - dislocated colar bone, damaged shoulder ligaments & wrist - heavy fall off the mountain bike up in Whinlatter was with a few mates so got to to A&E ok, nothing broken. Now I'm back away at work for 3 weeks.
  10. No advice from me marra (other than go for it) but would love to hear it after the mods. I've been thinking about an exhaust upgrade for a while as i've always liked the sound of AK's Nismo but meant to be saving ££££'s for a house move. Hope you're impressed with the results and maybe you can pursuade me......

  12. Liking the look of some of the gear knobs PM sent
  13. Congratulations Andrew. Hope all goes well
  14. Just thought it was too much coincidence - Workington/Wokingham. Still, hope you enjoyed the visit.
  15. Misread the location by any chance......? Unless you were 300+ miles from home enjoying the Lake District? If so then I apologise.
  16. Tidy looking coupe, got the 'nod' when passing. Didn't catch any other details other than shiny after-market exhaust. Anyone on here? Don't see that many round these parts...... ......exclusivity
  17. I have only had it serviced once during my ownership as I haven't had it for long enough to be due for it's next service yet. But yeah, I took it to Edgars, Rowrah (happy with their service provided) to keep the dealer stamp going as I didn't know how long I would be keeping it for..... ....Still loving it so will prob keep it a while yet. There is much divided opinion on whether a dealers stamp is a must when selling on by the owner and/or future buyers. I think nowadays most people are happy if it has been looked after regularly by a reputable garage.
  18. Sorry marra, never noticed any window-lickers on my way past. Lol
  19. I'm getting the itch to do something similar now. Must be great to do the first track day in the dry and not have to worry about speed cameras ....even if you do have keep your wits about you for less courteous drivers!
  20. Looks and sounds like an excellent day Andrew. Some great action shots and still pics. It certainly looks like a technically demanding track. Do you get any records of lap times or is it just the thrill & satisfaction of knowing your are going quicker (hopefully) and 'hooking-up' a series of corners?
  21. Every chance mate. I had a few places to go around that time. Thought I would travel in style despite the crappy weather. Can't say i noticed anyone flashing/waving. What where you in?
  22. Take a look at these pictures to give you an idea. As Alex says - do away with the metal blocks and lines from calipers. Don't forget to bleed.......the brake lines afterwards that is! Front: Rear:
  23. where abouts mate? Oh yeah, forgot to say - I'm in Workington
