  1. Oh the R2 pipe when Ie measured it was 62mm exactly on both pipes.
  2. The tips on these exhaust system is bolt on I'll post pics later. So I reckon cris can request for you what tip you want. For example I could buy a set of polished tips and change them with my burnt tips depending on my mood. Also I think the t represents wether it's a true dual or not. Not sure about the R1 but my R2 is the PWR version. Hope that helps .
  3. Lol prob not in the same context I do have a momentum intake which was the only one in the UK and they closed done a few days ago really wanted their turbo kt.
  4. Guys if want a sound clip of a R2 exhaust with stock cats I can post it up for you later on. well done Chris their good piece of kit! The tig welding are superb on my exhaust , just sad to know beig the only one in the UK with the r2 will end soon lol
  5. if i had the money i would take this instantly
  6. oh i wish i had the money but, you took the last of it , plus i need need to get the camber sorted on the car first.
  7. Yeah George emailed me apologising that he couldn't keep the deal we had in place for the turbo kit. It was a shame for such a up and coming company with alot of good reviews. Hopefully he can find some new investors and start up again. Looks like my s/c or HP N/a build for me .
  8. I didn't know where to post this and a search turned nothing up. To all Momentum Performance Customers, Dealers, Partners and Enthusiasts: By many measures, 2011 was an amazing year for Momentum Performance. The team strung together a number of victories including the release of our 350Z/G35 product line, the addition of over 400 new dealers to our network, a world-wide customer base, and the development of new product lines for the Mustang and BMW. In countless ways the Momentum team demonstrated their ability to push forward and achieve remarkable things. However, while all this was happening there was another challenge in the background that was not being met with the same success. Momentum was founded with the goal of using technology and modern manufacturing, testing and procurement methods to bring exceptional products to the market at a fair price that all could afford (we were expecting to carve about 20% off the price of the Z/G product line in 2012). As such, there were significant upfront and ongoing costs associated with the effort, and it was critical that Momentum grow quickly to reach profitability while continuing to raise capital to meet the ongoing needs. Coming into 2011, due to a strong business plan and an exceptional team of employees and partners in R&D, procurement, manufacturing, distribution, marketing, etc.; Momentum had been able to raise millions of dollars and did not foresee any difficulty in continuing to do so. However, unfortunately in March of 2011 a dispute began when Momentum’s investment group tried to renegotiate the terms of a note with a minority investor. Unfortunately, this dispute evolved into a serious lawsuit which all but eliminated any opportunity of raising needed capital. (Investing in startups is risky by nature, but startups with investor lawsuits are beyond the risk tolerance of almost all investors.) There was never any denial of the investor’s financial claim—the company clearly owed the money but needed to renegotiate the terms. (And in a catch 22 situation, this need was only exacerbated by the ensuing lawsuit.) The issue instead (at least from the company’s point of view) was how can a compromise be structured that would allow the company to continue to raise capital, move forward and grow, and repay the investor’s debt over time. Throughout 2011, I believed logic would win-out and eventually an acceptable solution would be found. I knew the only way the company could survive was to find a compromise and settle, and that if the company ceased operations virtually all value would instantly be destroyed for all stakeholders— including the investor pursuing the lawsuit. I believed strongly that the opportunity to gain something through compromise would eventually trump the emotion and certainty of losing everything through an ongoing lawsuit, and as recently as last month I believed we had found a resolution. Unfortunately I was wrong, and the sad fact is that after almost a year the dispute is still no closer to being resolved. This has been a very disappointing and difficult time for the Momentum team who are all excellent people and fully invested their hearts and souls into the company, and I am extremely saddened to say that I now see no option but to close Momentum Performance since there is no way to continue without the needed funding. For those customers who have outstanding orders, please rest assured that we will continue to act with integrity and fully honor all current orders. We expect to ship all of these by the end of this week, and we will also do our best to make sure that any necessary tech support is available. I want to thank all of the Momentum Performance team members and partners. Their unwavering dedication to excellence, integrity, and the overall customer experience throughout the past years has been inspiring to me and I believe also to the industry. Furthermore, I want to thank our business partners like Deatschwerks, Garrett, TiAL, UpRev, Vibrant Performance, as well as many others who have helped us grow faster and become better than we could have on our own. For any company considering hiring a past Momentum Performance team member or partnering with a past Momentum Performance partner, you will not regret it. These are all excellent people who will deliver. Lastly, I want to thank all the Momentum Performance dealers, customers, and enthusiasts around the world. The ongoing and incredible support you have given our company and our mission has been overwhelming, and I am deeply sorry that I have let you down by not being able to resolve this matter in a favorable way. After nine months of trying to settle and maintain the value Momentum has built, it just doesn’t seem right that so much great work and so many great people should end in this illogical manner, but that is the sad and unfortunate reality we must face today. Thank you again for your past support, and I wish everyone nothing but the best in the future. Push Forward. George Taylor President/CEO http://www.momentumperformance.com/P...ntumCloses.pdf
  9. Seats are best value for many just because it's free flowing, especially non silenced ones. But o course it will fail lot or random stop checks. However HFC will pass MOT, and certain trackdays do require them and theyre a lil bit easier to live with. Either way remap is needed for full benefits
  10. Lol I need to raise it at least 5, I any even get past te speed bump at my work. I actually bounce back from it lol.
  11. no rubbing what-so-ever , but i prob will when i get my spacers lol, and at that point it shall be raised to a respectable 30mm drop , i could just run more negative camber lol
  12. I should add that my car is a 04 GT model, just in case it affects fitments on any part.
  13. Before i head to uni thought i take a quick few snaps
  14. I have to clear out a few parts for some space around the house. If the tag isnt clear enough i will retake the pictures when i get home from uni. Old front suspension set up good for returning to OEM. i have reason to believe both the fronts have been replaced since the car rolled out the factory, to what reason i haven't a clue but in the process of finding out. I have no clue how much these go for so im just gonna say £150 for the sake of naming a price, the cars done 28k miles on these. plenum - good nick comes with most the bolts unless ive misplaced one or dropped one without realising, will require new gaskets as mines is all bent. ideal for polishing or painting. ive got both both the upper and bottom. so say £100 for both, or £60 each Cosworth Panel filter, no need for explanation, been in the car for <500 miles, removed due to getting momentum performance intake. £25 Bootlid spoiler - comes in sunset orange , no scratches but covered in dust. say £60 Air intake box, and intake tube. standard oem intake box and tube, will put in old Oem panel filter which i still have. £30 standard plastic engine cover , simple plastic part which goes onto of the engine £ 20 Please note all prices are what i wish to get for them however i will be more than happy to negotiate, none of the above prices will include delivery, which will be paid on your own behalf, as well as paypal fees. if two items are purchased by the same buyer i will work out some deal on the shipping e.g ill pay half the shipping etc. all parts will be cleaned before shipping.
  15. LOL jay , pfftt this is pennies compared to what keyser and neil is doing, im gradually building it up, hopefully time and finances allow it, ill have a inspirational car in a year or two
  16. The rears and fronts both have adjustments in them , the rears are a little more tricky to get to but, a aleen key is supplied to make adjustments a lil bit easier. No drilling was required tho which was on the + side. Ill prob set it about 30-35 mm drop, with a slight -ve camber later on for better handling. im looking at fast road use, im currently in the frame of mind to go FI but recently i wanted to do something different and maybe go High Comp N/A build, i know not alot of power can be drawn out with just H/C N/A build, but esprit, a company in japan managed around 340/350 bhp by going N/A. The reason i dont wanna just go for looks is cause im planning to eventually turn this into a fun weekend/track car. Going high power N/A would give me a great responding engine, which wouldnt have me worried as much as having a turbo or supercharger strapped on.
  17. I thought I was the only one who's ever up at crazy times lol. Need to get some front and rear camber kits soon. I reckon I need to set the preload in the back springs to help with the spongy feeling.
  18. So i recieved my coilover from Chris (tarmac) after taking on his special offer. Got these fitted on Saturday night along at my mates house as he has all the tools, we set about dismantling the fronts first as we knew they would be most tricky. Im not going to detail about everything we done, and i didnt get a chance to take to much pictures. so basically strut bar off, wheels off, a bit of swearing and cursing to get the old parts out, also i found out my front suspension has been replaced not so long ago presumably before i purchased the car. so back to fitting the new coilovers on. .once they where fitted i realised something was wrong if you look closely at the next picture youll see the part which hold the hoses for the brakes is bent . no biggie i thought so i hammered it straight. only to realise another problem , its not shown on the picture but basically one of the three rods which protrude out the struts was bent a good 20 degrees , so my mate and i has the carefully pull it straight. ( the furthest away bolt ) So front wheels back on, dropped to a ridiculous 40 mm, and strut brace reattached, i was going to put my kinetix manifold cover that i got from alex but i couldn't find the imperial Allen key . After that, we started working on the rears, The rears where easy as pie, 20 mins max each side. the only problem is shown in the last picture, when we realised that AMS didn't supply a bolt, so we had to cut the ones off the old damper to make it fit. ( before installation the gap was too big lol. I will update the thread once i get the chance to wash my car, and show how low it is, i will be raising it so its sitting at a 30mm drop, cause the bottom is scraping mad. next on the list is to spacers, get the front and rear camber sorted, wheel alignment , My mot which was due since the 2nd , and get my tyres which should arrive on Monday fitted. The first impression is these are well built other than the faults i discovered, it could be damaged in transit but they weren't bad so im not complaining. I just need to sort out the ride height and the damping levels , atm seeing as its a 20way , ive set it 6 clicks at the front and 8 at the rear, but its too spongy a ride so it looks like im gonna set it up for a firmer ride. even tho its a bit spongy steering feels good, and it does in a way feel more grippy in the tighter turns. when i "accidently" lose the back end i can find it more controllable , until i straighten up when it feels spongy again. all in all good kit, good value for money, and if your interested send tramac a pm hell look after you.
  19. I believ the only official nismo dealership is sumo power down south and been a company of it's size you would be looking to pay OTT prices for them, as their mark up would be crazy.
  20. Possible repost but at least the girl has a good taste in cars http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... point.html
  21. what be even better is if you win then you would reply , thank you for your ticket boom!
  22. yeah the Intake is only going to be on the car for a year max. Cause the turbo kit ill be getting from the same company, reuse the filter on the same location , only attach to the turbo.http://www.momentumperformance.com/prod ... _Tuner_Kit. however that kit itself would fit on RHD cars without some modifications, they're constantly updating me on the progress of their RHD turbo kit. Aslong as i avoid puddles the filter seems to be okay with not sucking in water
  23. 3" pipe . i perfer a filter which doesnt require oiling, as it may mess about with the MAF sensor, but i recokn with the length of the tubing and the bend before the Sensor, it should be okay. Coilovers next, then i need to fix my radiator, just realised the radiator has been pushed back after hitting that fox, and the belts are cutting into one of the wires, so ill take better photos soon.
  24. yeah need to get the the kinetix cover. but ill get that later, not bothered about the looks till later on. as for the filter i cant find the size lost the sheet of paper
