  1. according to calculator the 9J +0et will go out a further 9mm than my current fronts 9.5j et15 running 255/35/19 which is already poking! I reckon I need at least 25mm tbh, will it be safe to run 5mm shims on top of 20mm hubcentrics?
  2. thats where i got them from buddy. anyone here running 9j zero offset fronts?
  3. I got the garage to test fit one of the rears first as i thought they might be troublesome, 19x10J +6 offset ssr vienna no problems fit perfect so i went and got the other 3 wheels and tyres fronts are work eurolines 18x9J +25 as i am going for the staggered 19x10r 18x9f same as on the nismo edition. anyways bloody fronts hit the calipers which i didnt expect, even tried it with 20mm spacer and still rubs. So my options are either 1. try run 25mm spacer up front which will be exactly zero offset, will it fit? or 2. Try and source some new fronts which will take ages as this set took about a year from Japan lol What do you think guys?
  4. yep you are, mine is a UK GT revup and ran this unit perfectly

    what new car?

is that a citroen? lol oh yeah I've always liked them thats a good suggestion, although no back seats. My uncle used to have a white one but I never got to go out in it unfortunately. He said the parts are very reasonable prices from the US as well. yep m135i would be lovely but I'll have to wait for the price to drop. It has the quick steering rack as well.. I agree the new m3 just feels a bit too big but does feel more comfortable and stable at high speed than the old one to be fair. I dont know how anyone would say the R8 is dull, I loved it. You lot must be F1 drivers.
  6. don't be too worried about the rev up using oil, mines done 130k miles and still sweet hasn't been burning any oil.

    what new car?

I wouldn't say a 335 or 135 is either, but their on the OPs list regardless. Besides, he didn't ask for better! not in standard form anyway, I'm thinking 135i modded should be better fun than 335i, bit of turbo tuning and LSD should see closer to 400bhp and improved handling. its looking like either 135i modded or standard e46 m3 cab then...

    what new car?

is the c4s engine reliable, and is the NA engine more fun than turbo? I'm not keen on the interior or boot space though tbh, I'd like to fit a decent size subwoofer as well

    what new car?

budget 10-15k looks good fast fun not too big good handling (pref RWD) reliable 20ish mpg Pref back seats even if small ones
  10. I'm a bit bored of my 350z I advertised it on here a few months ago but I havent bumped the thread since as i dont really know what i want to replace it with. If I had the money to throw i'd probably get an audi R8 or a gt3 with my heart or a bmw 1m with my sensible head on. I can't seem to find anything that looks as good and is reliable and cheap to insure as the 350 in my price range. I drove a couple of e46 m3s and liked the engine m3 plus points good power band high revs better body kit and wheels than standard model comes with LSD has a spare wheel well bad points the coupe is very expensive to insure, so id have to get a cab which would mean less boot space and added weight and reduced stiffness suffers from a few known issues including subframe failure and vanos doesnt look as good as my car 335i and 135i are meant to be fast but I couldn't really get the revs up on it on test drive to tell, plus points easy power upgrade cheap insurance 4 seats and goot boot space cheaper tax economical bad points look like regular bmws no LSDs turbo and fuel pump issues come with runflats and no spare wheel well (i have terrible luck with getting punctures) looks a bit crap 996 look crap inside and turbo model didn't excite me when I had it for a week. Cayman s Ims failure. And I kinda want a 2+2 So I'm thinking compromise on looks and get 135i then mod it with an LSD Or e46 m3 cab and wait for the subframe to fail or engine problems Lol What else is there?

  13. great advice for going up hills
  14. it will have the option of different headlights derived from the concept car apparently
  15. interested to find out as well
  16. I've added a photo of my head unit as well for reference
  17. Had a quick look and a lot of them also say that it doesnt work with a headunit with a 6 CD changer... As it says it plugs into where your CD changer would be. Not saying it's right or wrong but all seems a bit strange. strange indeed, i have the UK 350z GT with BOSE and 6 CD and worked perfectly for me.
  18. Really That's quite strange, I'm not sure how that info came about, but there are quite a lot of UK suppliers selling this interface, would be weird them all selling something that doesn't fit lol
  19. yes it is handy, only removed it as i took took the bose system out. you can access the playlists and scroll up and down through your playlists and forward and backwards on the tracks as well.
