  1. Might be the same one I see parked every day in Merstham
  2. The last one may have just been on the lookout for a marked car thats been reported in the area or doing other checks. Speed checks aren't as high a priority for on the beat cars recently as the number of fixed speed cameras and vans has increased. I've mellowed in my age and have realised that it's nice to have a quick car, but only use it when appropriate. Not at every opportunity.
  3. I've been a HTC fan for the last 16 years. I'm definitely gonna go Google for my next phone. Despite my hatred for apple products, the one thing they do great over others is that not only do they make the software but they also make the hardware so it works together better. Finally Google are gonna do the same. HTC have always been for me great phone builders and now that they're making the Google phones, bonus . Google just spent a a large amount of money to hire 2000 HTC engineers to make their next set of phones on their vision. They haven't bought HTC yet, but the rumours are that they will be at some point in the future.
  4. Fair enough, but only works if he can keep the zed off road. If he has to park on public roads, then he can't untax it. With regards to the rest if your argument, never thought of it like that. Personally I'd still rather drive a zed on winters irrespective of cost than buy a winter banger.
  5. Michelin pilot alpine pa4 Front and back £676 from black circles. How much would a banger cost? + tax + insurance + yearly MOT + servicing??? My winter tyres would have lasted me 3-4 years. I've wrote about tread wear somewhere on this forum. Put them on in October and then took them off in late March. Only when average temp was below 7c. But the OP is in Scotland, so gonna guess that's a good time period to use them. Also winter tyres aren't just about snow. The grip I got in cold conditions over the mpss was amazing. They're just not made to perform in colder temps. My last point, how many smiles per mile would a banger give you over a 350z? /thread
  6. Michelin pilot alpine pa4. Used them on my zed when I had her. Awesome grip. Used Michelin pilot super sports rest of the year and I used to take advantage of that extra grip esp in the snow . Used to be able to do crazy stuff and outrun most cars in the snow including 4x4s.
  7. Reading the CPS site, I disagree, yeah temporary or permanent damage is inflicted. But ah well. We'll see what happens when they return and the story is updated. Or maybe we'll never know.
  8. Not criminal damage. Where has he damaged it? In the case shown above the police couldn't say anything to him as he hadn't damaged the car. If anything he'd protected it from harm.
  9. Pass away I would have thought. Sorry to hear this if this relates to you.
  10. Supercar detailer. I'm 12 years older than my wife, and I've already told her that once I retire, whilst I'm waiting for her, I'm gonna go work part time for a luxury or sports car dealership cleaning cars.
  11. Try this place... http://www.premierwheelrepairs.com/
  12. What happened with this? How did you get it sorted? Or is it still ongoing?
  13. I believe Buster had this on his zed at some point. PM him.
  14. first of all congrats. 1. Spacers will fit. Handling will only be affecting very slightly, as it was on your 350 & 370. It won't vous your warranty. 2. Replacing the exhaust will affect the exhaust warranty only IRC. As to which one, I'll let others say what they like. IMO the ARC exhaust sounds lovely. But get HFCs with it.
  15. So has Kirsty Gallagher. On her way to pick up her kids. Cos she was so plastered the night before.
  16. Could you put a sign up about clamping unauthorised vehicles and then call a clamping company to do it. They'd probably love the extra cash.
  17. is it the same number plate? If so try and confront them. Otherwise when no one is around, kick it to the floor.
  18. Snap. Agree with you at every point.
  19. The Spotted a 350z convertible on the front cover.
  20. I bought my mx5 cos it was cheap and easy to fix/run. I average about 38mpg. All round brake discs and pads (grooved and updated) cost me £150 last year. Bargain IMO coming from the zed where my front discs were £700
