anybody got any predictions/hints about RRL? looking shocking at the moment!

hi guys and girls hope you can help. I am fabricating a piece of furniture for a customer who lives in scarborough. He wants me to produce a sideboard that is a complete one off and deliver it to him in scarborough. I have quoted him £950 for the product and £100 delivery (cost of fuel and van hire). We have agreed that I will deliver in person and install it for him (has lights in etc). So that I am not out of pocket in case he changes his mind we have agreed that he will pay £450 upfront. He wants to send it via paypal so he is covered if i do a runner. What I am concerned about is that if I deliver in person and collect the rest of the cash, after i have left he could raise a paypal dispute stating he never received it. As a result I would not have proof of delivery i.e a ups tracking number for example so i imagine paypal would force a refund despite him having the product. This isnt just me being paranoid. I have sent a small item through collectplus parcel service and they diddnt offer a signature on delivery at the time. Because I could only provide a tracking number not an actual proof of delivery they forced me to refund the money. So i genuinely sent the item but was still forced to be left out of pocket. any advice?

could be an option mate although ive just had a look and they seem to be alot more than 1900. 3k is only getting me a high mileage old model diesel. what year model was his?

Hi guys and girls, I'm after suggestions, We are now back to being a 1 car family (just the zed) after my company car has gone back. I am looking for an estate/4x4/people carrier/van that ticks the following boxes. 1. Very reliable 2. Large enough for 2 large dogs and able to carry large load (approx size of 8 full size suitcases) 3. Very economical at least 40mpg+ 4. Something that missus wont be ashamed to drive to work every now and then (she is a finance director so wouldnt dirty big van to work) the following are not must haves but would like 5. sporty drive (not boring, obvious choice would be volvo estate but they are just drab!!) 6. highly specced (leather, electrics etc) I am after all this for the massive sum of around £3000 Any suggestions?

Hi guys and girls, sorry ive got another non car related question. Does anybody know where i can get a cheap (under £10 preferably) switch box? I have 3 items i need to power. I plan to cut off the plugs and put them into a box powered by one plug with 3 individual switches. Is there anything out there that will do it. The only thing i can find is a blagdon pond switch box which costs £30 any help much appreciated thanks k

do we know whats going on with RRL hit 16p now back up to 18.5p makes no sense to me whatsoever, have we had a bad RNS

I've looked into that but cant seem to find 12v to mains. they are all mains to 12v

Only 10p over I doubt you will find what your after for much less i know, sorry wasnt being petty, that price is plus vat and delivery so total price is £17 which is a shame cos its exactly what im after. Its really annoying if i was working with 12v there is literally thousands of led/strip lights on ebay for about £3 inc P+P

Hi guys and girls, not sure anybody will be able to help but i thought i'd ask. I'm looking for either an LED or flourescent strip light either 2 x 25cm or 1 x 50cm (approx doesnt need to be exact) I need it to be red, blue or purple in colour. The most important thing is that it runs off a normal 240v plug. I can find loads that run off 12v (i.e car neons etc) but i need it to run off a normal socket. any help much appreciated. thanks kev

just to help picture it, its about 1.5 times the size of my iphone 4

good evening, this weekend i have changed my indicator and sidelight bulbs which involved taking off the passenger side front wheel arch liner. When i removed it the part pictured fell on the floor. Do we know what it is and where it has come from, i dont want to not put it back on in case its important. I have taken a couple of pics and the only marking on it are below, could this be a part number >EPDM< >EPDM< thanks Kev

to be honest dont really want a new exhaust or rather cant afford it as i've promised the missus i wont spend money on car as we're in process of saving to do a self build house project. however she cant argue about replacing a part which is a must. just looking at stock exhaust with decat/hfc options?

Hi guys and girls, ive got to replace my left cat as its showing as inefficient and causing the engine management light to come on. Cut a long story short i'm thinking of going for decats instead of OEM. Just searched for stock exhaust and decats on youtube and found this i think it sounds amazing, is that really just a stock exhaust with decat?
