  1. 20mm/25mm spacers

Correct me if I'm wrong. It gives your wheel offset 10/8 (front/back).

How does it work for you - does it rub anywhere, how is the ride?

Looks much better with the spacers.

20mm/25mm Eibach Spacers are IMO perfect for standard Z with Rays. No rubbing, if it was lowered then probably would be but my back dictates that lowering is not an option.

Ride is no different really, but I can now go over the small speed humps without touching them

The car looks totally different with the spacers and again IMO looks more imposing.

  2. Why not have a go at wrapping it like BM and if you don't like it or mess it up you can take it off and try something else, I would have thought it would be about £50-60 for a big enough bit to do the centre console door inserts and maybe a bit left over to spare.

  3. I have been quoted £120 for my full NISMO N1 replica bumper respray :teeth:

thats cos you live up norf where electricity hasn't been discovered yet

the closer to london the more expensive work gets

Try living IN London, it would probably be cheaper for me to buy another Z with a better bumper, swap them over then scrap it

  4. I feel your pain as I did the same to my centre console. I tried and tried to stretch the stuff into the gauge mount but ended up cutting round it and it looked crap. I was never totally in love with it as I thought it was a bit dull shame it doesn't come in a gloss finish. Great stuff (if frustrating) to work with, just keeps stretching!!!!

Yeah, that was my first though, but then decidec to remove the gauges altogether, including the bottom cup bits that are stuck down, decided to pop them out so I only had the centre console frame, then replaced the gauge cups back, which was easy enough with the help of superglue and a soldering iron (plastic welding).

so the di-noc strectches around the edge and out of sight and ends up looking quite tidy.

I took mine apart too but I still cocked it up!

I got some cheap RSW stuff now that just needs a bit of a freshen up B)

I'm gonna use the bit of Di-Noc I got left to do the lower lip on the front bumper when my Zunsport grille arrives B)

  5. maybe the british version of the tuf tuf club needs to be started.:ninja:

Are they the Dutch guys who used that expanding foam stuff to kill the cameras?

    yep

they are also the guys who shoot them, burn tyres on them, pull them out of the ground, and blow them up with explosives.

it was one of their members who used to mark them for death in pink to taunt the police, and then at some point he'd blow it up and the police wouldn't know when

2 of the cameras on my commute were burned 2 years ago, one 1 made it back :yahoo:

  7. Ok be gentle as I'm certainly no professional at cleaning a car but here are a couple of pics of Z, unfortunately the sun had gone in by the time I finished!

I bought the car in December its now done 78k (5k by me alone since I got it) and so far I have fitted -

    Stubby aerial (Envy)

    Satin Z badges (Envy)

    20mm/25mm spacers (CS)

    Pop Charger (JDM)

Carbon Gear & Handbrake Gaiters (Readline Goods)

LED lights for Interior & rear (AutoBulbs Direct)

    Tonneau (pbannister  )

Tonneau & RSW Interior (Bennett  )

Brushed Gear Knob & Tax Disc Holder (William - KTA  )

    Pioneer F900bt

    New Handbrake Cover

Just want to say that all the above traders on here are top notch  only slight dissapointment was the Tonneau from pbannister but that was just a personal thing nothing wrong with the actual item.

Met up with Bennett and also the 350z-uk legend that is Nurrish last week and found out that the previous owner obviously had some good taste and £'s as I already had clear front reflectors and LED rear light :yahoo:

I haven't taken any interior pics as I still have a couple of things I want to get sorted before it looks B) to me.

  8. Why not go to a decent ICE centre, then you can get some advice and shouldn't cost you more than £50-£80 for fitting depending on what you want done, just HU or more.

That said there are loads of members with lots if knowledge on here.

Have a look through some posts on here to give you some pointers, to be honest it's fairly easy to get into the centre console, it's just the wiring that's fiddly but only if you have steering controls really.

  9. Hi Craig,

Sorry to hear this bud :(

I know this isn't going to make much difference but if you do get your money back and still want them, I'm happy to do these at cost for you considering your a good customer and have been inconvenienced by this...

    Best Regards,

    Gaz

Thanks Gaz! I definately want them so I will take you up on that when I can afford them again. Will need a few other pieces of you also! Will claim for a refund off this guy and come straight to you once i have dough!

I am starting to think the same thing Beavis! THink he may have been offered money for his car and not took the time to get them removed! Hoping the car joins the forum.

Well they are in the picture of the engine bay in the advert so if I had bought the car I would want to know where they are too.

It's a good job his posts were locked to stop any further problems, just unfortunate for you that you lost out. Good luck if you go down the court process, just a complete hassle.
