I have decided to go ahead and book up my UPREV with abbey and im defo looking foward to the remap, my question is though, what kind of extra stress will be put on my engine and transmission, can the Z handle the extra horses? im expecting my clutch to wear out faster but anything i should be aware of? I.E what upgrades should i get once i have a Z with more HP than normal, does the tranny need uprating + engine components... (my main concern is 100% WOT... im not sure that IS a good thing? especially in say 1st gear. Also im contemplating getting a plenum spacer fitted for the remap to go along with my K&N panel filter on my otherwise stock Z... how much would it cost for you guys to fit a plenum spacer?

I installed PF pads - these are the buggers that are currently squeeling!! (I am sure it's my fault more than the pads) Got to say they work very well!! They managed to hold the road very well whilst at the Nurburgring, just a shame I never got round to fitting my HEL lines and higher performance fluid. The result of using stock fluid and lines resulted in getting a very squishy brake pedal half way round the track hmm, as anders would say... get braided lines I think i want some braided lines thinking about it

wouldn't a metal pipe absorb more heat than the plastic.... again losing more BHP? Yeah I know what you mean but I do want the engine to look great... that's the only part of the car that's changing!! then get a panel filter and plenum spacer? for the sake of opening your bonnet and staring at a shiny pipe for a few seconds, i dont think its worth it Make somthing else shiny that doesnt hinder performance instead? I don't know, each to thier own

Nice idea - looks like they'll be doing under warranty though - going in next thursday. Bloody hell thats good of them, clutch under warranty, what Nissan stealership is that?! Will reveal once they confirm they're doing it - they seem to think they can get it done after only 11k - I'm not holding my breath though It's not even been driven hard ffs so if they don't do it I'll be very pi**ed off!! how often do you look under the hood? id rather have stock box + panel filter for more juice

while your at it, get an uprated clutch?

or you could if your desperate get the car rolling down a hill, have the keys in and in the "on" position then lift the clutch up at around 6,7mph. Either that or get some people to push it to that kind of speed. Actually, does this work in the z with the clutch down to turn over the engine sort of safety feature?

Id personally put the stock 06 box on with a panel filter for performance over a sound improvement + looks i guess.

Leather Care Balm is primarily a feeder and protectant for use on clean or pre-cleaned leather. Soiled leather should first be cleaned with Autoglym Leather Cleaner. Leather Care Balm is also suitable for use on motorcycle leathers. Soiled leather should first be cleaned with Autoglym Motorcycle Leather Cleaner. Instructions: Shake well (the bottle, I presume) Always test a small inconspicuous area first to check for water staining and colour fastness. Gently massage into the surface of the leather and continue massaging until the creaminess disappears.
