It would seem some other car makes aren't always brilliant either:

I'm glad I don't have a DB9...

Winter tyres are still the best if u could afford them or has a place to put away your summer tyres.
Or get hold of any!!! Tried for weeks and weeks but no success...apparently the tyre depots are low on all stock and zed tyre sizes are not your average size!!! Some internet sites are showing stock of winter tyres when really they are all weather tyres pretending to be winter ones!
Have you tried mytyres.co.uk? I bought some winter tyres from them a few weeks back and they had a larger selection than anywhere else I'd found online.

The socket needed for the locking wheel nut key is 21mm on my car, which is the same size socket needed for all the other wheel nuts.
-
That's rtbiscuit's old car, and Husky has a set on his new wheels too. Having seen Husky's, I'm not convinced by them but each to their own I suppose.
-
I've just seen the BBC web-page with the stranded zed at the top, it looks like it might have the GT4 wheels which will narrow down the list of possible member's cars.
-
It's taken you quite a few months with the car to notice that, the 370 must have a lot better fuel economy too then if you've only just got around to filling it!

There's some snow here in Leamington this morning and so I thought it's probably a good idea to get my winter wheels and tyres fitted. Unfortunately I've know found out that even on the standard wheels, the fronts and rears are different even though they're the same width. I now have two winter tyres on my car and a rear wheel with a front tyre and a front wheel with a rear tyre sitting on the floor...
-
At least we don't have to worry about doing that to the zeds, having to depress the clutch to start the car is a sensible feature (especially considering how poor the handbrake is, so you have to leave it in gear if you want the car to stay where you leave it...)

I've got to say I agree with John here, although I'm also biased since I work for the same company he does. My biggest gripe is that every single time any JLR product is mentioned there's always a number of snide comments basically suggesting all the cars are terrible and that you shouldn't go anywhere near them.
Just yesterday I read a post with someone mentioning they wanted their Dad to get an XFR and just 13 min later one of the site moderators jumps in to suggest otherwise. It gets very frustrating!
I will also add though that's it's also incredibly frustrating that my company allows customers to get so disillusioned about our cars, especially because on the whole the products haven't been this good for a long time and it seems like relatively simple things to fix that are causing most of the problems (e.g. good customer service, it shouldn't be that tricky!).

mis-matched paint from panel to panel(possible accident repair?)...............
But be aware that on a lot of cars the bumpers can look a slightly different colour to the rest of the car in certain lighting conditions, they came out of the factory this way.
Good luck!

How much does the system weigh? I think Akrapovic exhausts tend to be quite light normally so I'm guessing you're saving quite a lot of weight versus stock?
-
I think CalZed may have done it, I'm sure Husky will be along in a minute to confirm it though.
-
That's one very impressive looking exhaust, the quality looks incredible

Why would they wash the car if it was spotless when you brought it in?
That confuses me more than anything...
It confused me too.

Christ. Are people really this precious?
The MOT place thought they'd be doing you a favour by giving your car a quick clean, and it's a nice gesture most customers would appreciate. If you objected to this so much the onus is on you to make them aware of this. Essentially you're having a go at them because you forgot to tell them not to wash your car?
I know they thought they were doing me a favour which is why I didn't complain whilst I was there but it still annoyed me so I thought I'd have a bit of a moan on here amongst some like minded people. I never considered that they might wash it since it was only there for an MOT and it was spotless already!
-
I've finished washing, glazing and waxing it now, I wasn't impressed with the way they left it but at least I've got it looking good again.
-
I know to tell people not to clean it if it's getting serviced but it didn't cross my mind that they might clean it when it was only there for an MOT.
-
My car had its MOT this morning, when I got it back I found out that they'd decided to wash it too
I'm a bit particular about washing my car and the last thing I want is for someone to smear a dirty sponge across it. To make matters worse I'd spent all of Saturday afternoon washing and claying it then only driven it the few miles to the MOT centre, it was spotless! There are now streaky, dirty water marks all over it and the windows/windscreen are horrendous
Fortunately I've got today off work and I'd planned to glaze and wax it anyway, so I'll just give it another clean first...

In October's issue of EVO it talks about the future of Japanese sports cars and under Nissan Z it said:
"Strongly rumoured to be getting a Mercedes diesel or hybrid after a deal was recently finalised between the two companies."
Not very exciting!
-
"no offers worth less than 20k as wont reply" yet the car is advertised at £19,995...

I don't have a PS3 but I am tempted to get one once GT5 finally comes out. I've been looking at the complete list of all the cars in the game and the 350Z is quite well represented with 13 models (unless I missed some other tuner cars):
NISMO Fairlady Z S-tune concept by GRANTURISMO (Z33) '02
NISMO Fairlady Z Z-tune (Z33) '03
Nissan 350Z (Z33, EU) '03
Nissan 350Z (Z33, US) '03
Nissan 350Z Concept LM Race Car
Nissan 350Z Gran Turismo 4 Limited Edition (Z33) '05
Nissan 350Z Roadster (Z33, EU) '03
Nissan 350Z Roadster (Z33, US) '03
Nissan Fairlady Z Concept LM Race Car
Nissan Fairlady Z Roadster (Z33) '03
Nissan Fairlady Z Version S (Z33) '02
Nissan Fairlady Z Version S (Z33) '07
Nissan Fairlady Z Version ST (Z33 Option Wheel) '02

Do one in white, one in black, you don't often see both handles at the same time anyway. After a week or two you'll have decided which you prefer so you could then change the other one to match.

I guess my post was a bit of dig at Hugh, but in a light hearted manner! I actually love Aston Martins, they've always been some of my favourite cars
