  1. Here is my video of a pitstop of the 350Z that competes in the VLN. I find it great that VLN lets you get so close. I see now that unfortunately the Schulze Brother driving the Zed did not classify as the car was taken out of the race after 3 hours and 18 minutes :-( Links to my other videos from yesterday: Pitstops: Nizzan 350Z: Lexus LF-A: Sabine Schmitz Manthey Racing Hybrid Porsche Ferrari 430 Ginetta GT4 Racing action from Hohe Acht: With the Lexus LF-A GT-R in parking lot
  2. I also do not need a hotel room.
  3. which weekend is the bank holiday weekend? can I get a month and date please. As I am my own boss I just work every day and pay no attention to holidays so I am a bit out of touch with when the Bank Holiday Weekend falls.
  4. I live in Frankfurt - so would not need to take part in convoy etc. But I would love to meet you guys there. What date are you planning?
  5. I will NOT be able to be at the Nurburgring on the coming Sunday. Just so nobody goes there and feels let down.
  6. I am getting this one - Strosek - in black - paid by the insurance of a girl who cannot drive properly and thus hit my bumper.
  7. Strosek rear. It also increases downforce. Windtunnel tested.
  8. Maybe we should get back on topic. Regarding timing I see that Hockenheimring is open on June 28th which is a bit too late for my idea of the meetup. The ring is open for touristenfahrten on these dates: Feb: 20+21+27+28 March: 6+7+14+15+16+21+29+30+31 April: 2+3+4+5+6+11+18+21 I assume that the weather is a bit more reliably good from the middle of March. Should we set a tentative date of Sunday March 21st and the place being the parking lot at the entrance to the Nurburgring NordSchleife?
  9. Handbags usually does the trick. No matter what trick it is you want
  10. Originally I was thinking of the meetup being a bit sooner than late august. Maybe we can arrange the autumn meetup to coincide with your dates at the Ring. Are the partners good looking enough to justify the effort of planning all this around you? (just kidding)
  11. If we are to think of a place already then my view is that Nurburgring is closer to UK people but maybe a more challenging (with all the pros and cons that brings) course and Hockenheim is more in the centre of Germany (so further from UK) but it seems a track that is easier to adapt to and maybe less dangerous. We can also meet somewhere else, I guess there is no need for a race track, but I think having something to do in addition to just chatting and polishing is more interesting. What do you lot think?
  12. Hi guys Is there any interest in a meetup for us in Germany? When the weather gets a bit better in a month or so I would like to meet the others from here who are in Europe. I am not thinking anything too formal, maybe just a meetup at an open pit day at Hockenheim or at Nurburgring. Is there any interest for this?
  13. Any videos of 380BHP on snow? I think it would look very boring as I am very careful with the throttle on snow. But most times when setting of from standstill using 1st gear the traction control light will light up a sec after I feel a slight wiggle of the ass
  14. Hi guys I am indeed in Germany. Here is a link to the welcome thread with a few pictures. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=30213 It drives very well and I have discovered that 380 bhp is sufficient on snow covered roads
  15. I have the GT-380 kit from Novidem in my car. It has the on-off switch for the supercharger. i don't really know why though as I never switch it off It was in the car when I bourght it. It was installed when the car had 55000 km and it now has 74000 km. I believe no internal engine parts were changed.
  16. That sounds great. Lets hope and work towards a meetup. I dont know if the ring is a bit intimidating though. I felt I had my hands full at Hockenheim on Sunday
  17. Welcome. Make noice when you are back in Germany. We should be able to organize a meetup for May.
  18. I guess we should enjoy the cold weather. more oxygen in the air and all that equals MORE POWERRRRRR!!!!!
  19. ok Was any of you guys at Hockenheim yesterday for Touristen fahren? I was there and there was also a blue and a silver/grey Z. My first track day in my own car. Very cool and fun.
  20. Hi Rob As said above, I am in Frankfurt. We should organise a regular Expat-meetup. I will be running my car all year so I am game for a English speaking meetup any time. snow is for drifting without wasting tyres :-)
  21. It was a very reasonable price. I cannot bring myself to go back to Denmark, partially because of the oppressive car taxation.
