  1. lightweight pulleys dont GIVE any power, they reduce drag, you wont gain any power but you may find the car will pick up a little quicker. im not sure if its the same with the 350 as im used to 200sx's, but they have a built in damper in the crank pulley,(cant remember the technical name, resonance dampner???) but when people were swapping out for lightweight pulleys they were finding the main bearings went soon after, but not sure if its the same with the 350, let us know how you get on, and yeah under drive is exactly what people have already said, you may find you need to find differant belts tho as the pulleys are a differant size
  2. gay, just looked at the date... well its a long shot i guess
  3. yeah lol, the drifting lot love them, thought id see what sort of response it got on here, i will swap it for a carbon bumper duct if anyone has one they arnt going to fit?
  4. this probably wont get the reaction it should but thougth id offer it up none the less, Bought this from driftworks before their surplier stopped making them, these are now almost impossible to get hold of now and very rarly come up for sale, proper old school jdm style here, had this fitted in my 79' sapporo, my s14a and my 350, its absolutly mint, the ladies love it and always comment on it... I know you can by those cheap ebay gearknobs that are all angular but they are very brittle and cheaply made, you wont be dissapoinetd with the quality of this. havnt got many pics atm but can take some more in the 350 soon if required, only selling as i have just bought a tiny resin HKS jobbie £50 delivered inc postage and paypal fees
  5. o that pretty boring then, wouldnt have thought it made any differance
  6. here a pic of the pipe im on about, dunno if only imports have them or not? and a pic of the airfilter i wanna get rid of to lol
  7. was looking at the 06+ airbox design and notices that my intake pipe id slightly differant from the pics i keep seeing, half way along the plastic intake pipe the its a 1" take off tube that appears to do noting and go nowhere? if you dont know what im talking about ill get a pic, but if you do, i just wonderd what the point of it is? does it make it quieter or something?
  8. Yeah but its not like its perminatly removed, everything is still there, when it comes time to sell it just put the belt back on. but overall you dont really gain anything so mite aswell be left on
  9. wasnt a crazy amount, just wonderd if sombody would high light anything, ive seen them before when the whole plug is covered in gunk and soot deposits, took it for a quick spin to check all is well and does seem smoother tbh
  10. 42,000 its a 2003 import, had 37,000 when i bought it
  11. my car had 19s on it when i bought it, the guy went really low profile (30) which im my opinion make the edge of the tyre look a bit thin and kind of increases the look of the arch gap, i persoanally think it looks better lower so im gonna sort some springs out but even when lowered it still wont need archwork ect, unless you go for a mental offset?
  12. sketch

    Wheel rim tape?

ive used rim tape an turned out perfectly, far easyer to do when your wheels are off lol. just need to take your time and make sure the line stays good and smooth all the way around, my mate saw mine and tried to copy it but did a really crap job with the line and looked awful, he did remove it soon after tho, mine was just red tho, when i get my lips painted on the wheels i have at the moment i want some reflective red rim tape
  13. thats exactly what ive done to, im hoping that the plugs were a little crappy and not burning 100% properly, atleast i can keep and eye on it now
  14. lol, im just intreeged really, i think my car is already pretty fast so with the extra 40bhp im possibly missing it would be like a whole new car
  15. Right after my recent dyno dissapointment i thought id make sure everything was tip top, so gave it another service and changed the plugs, 3 of the plugs looked perfect but the 3 on the MAP sensor side were slightly oily, not majorly gucked up but more than the other side? what is this likly to mean? its not the rocker cover gasket as the bores were prefectly clean, the car still pulls like a train, i dont think (hope) its normal and this is nothing major???
  16. yeah didnt think it would make much differance on a 3.5 v6 but thought here was the place to ask,
  17. right this mite sound stupid but with my other cars i.e 200sx s14a's when fitting lightweight pulleys i always removed the air con, mainly as it leaked and was never used, and a guy at the tuning shop said it would give about a small hp increase, and the weight saving of not having the aircon pump, cast brackets and aircon rad infront of the standard rad restristing cooling i know the gains are very mininal, but as the 350z, mine in particualar needs all the little horses i can find, would removing the aircon belt give any sort of gains on the 350? as the cars quite new id leave evrything else attached just remove the belt so the the crank wouldnt be driving the pump. i have just come back from the pub so could quite possibly be thinking rubbish?
  18. yeah its been bought on by my dyno run, im just gonna run the standard airbox with an uprated pannel filter, nice and simple.... had quite a few pms rtbiscuit lives literally a couple of miles down the road and has agreed to a swap so he'll have first dibs as it saves me postage ect... ill keep evryone updated should it become available again
  19. just the filter and the adapter the air flow meter
  20. dam just spotted this, will you still sel;l it for £35 posted or are you gonna leave it on ebay?
  21. fancy a swap for my apexi filter? its in the fs section, looking for a swap, cheers
  22. same as this bad boy http://www.jdmperformance.co.uk/searchp ... rodID=1400
  23. my car came with an apexi air filet and all the brackets ect to fit it, think it cost about £140 new, could do with a clean but otherwise perfectly ok, id like to swap it for a complete standard airbox inculding the mounts ect, basically everything you would remove to fit this filter, it must be in good condition and fit a 2003 car, not really looking to directly sell it just swap it if another member would like to, cheers, ill update with a pic asap
