  1. Had a similar experience with somebody driving into the rear bumper at traffic lights. Dealt direct with her insurance company to stick a Do-Luck (very rare) rear on instead.
  2. Feel free to stick converters on, but these will restrict light significantly. Better option is to ensure vertical alignment is not high so as not to dazzle oncoming drivers and do without stickers. Taken my zed to around 25 countries... Nobody beyond the Calais gendarmes cares and the law does not prescribe them. Also the glue residue is pretty bad for the light and hard to get off properly.
  3. Bosch S5 008. Most capacity and highest CCA you can fit in the zed. No brainer.
  4. Get yourself a Bosch S5 008. Best thing that fits in there...
  5. Only the best colour allowed to attend this one!
  6. I have these on mine. Recently been to Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania and south Italy and car felt great all the way there and back.
  7. LC818s. Absolutely the most awesome wheels for the zed imo. 19s. 9.5 on the front, 11 at the back. Sit perfectly. Gorgeous. What wheels are these? Sits perfect on them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Driven through some insane scenery and 'roads' in north Bosnia and along the Serbia-Montenegro border to Kosovo. Car doing great with all electronic aids disabled in Croatia. Downside of yesterday is that noises coming from the back and a little from the front indicate I have some joint, bearing and bush issues in various places. Can't look at it properly until the next stop on Montenegran coast but had a quick physical check and think it's all in order - just a few thousand miles of dirt tracks and blown up roads wear stuff out a lot.
  9. Somewhere in north Bosnia yesterday en route to Kosovo...
  10. Find fuse for dashboard. Remove. Fix when you're back. Don't follow my advice.
  11. Going back through Italy mate. Loved Zagreb and Croatia. We'll be back in Dubrovnik further down the road!
  12. Overcoming things breaking in your car is part of the experience. My ABS and traction control failed on the way down through Slovenia. Figure something out and drive on! Good luck!
  13. Bit of excitement on day 2. Nice and easy drive to Zagreb, but something gave in on the ABS. Kicks in at low speed constantly and sometimes triggers ESP. Pretty likely one of my wheel speed sensors is knackered - not something that I will quickly sort here so out comes the VDC fuse from under the bonnet. At least this way I don't have electronics switching off power to the wheels or cutting my brakes for no reason. Will jack up the car when we get to Montenegro and see if there's anything obvious going on with the rear speed sensors (pretty confident it's a rear as braking is largely unaffected even when abs comes in) without taking the wheels off. Old school driving on full manual with a beautiful array of warning lights on the dash. 😎
  14. Beautiful drive to Aachen just across the border from the Netherlands in Germany on day 1. Met Jake (member here) on the Eurotunnel and later at a service station in Belgium. Check out our two zeds in Belgium on instagram. #random
  15. If anybody is wondering how to optimise the luggage situation on road trips in the car, I highly recommend the solution in my last insta photo. 100cm x 40cm travel bag fits in the boot like OEM. Note to mods: I have no affiliation with the product. It's just an awesome fit. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B018H6SYPG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_U1uTxb7CH0Q2Q
