I thought that was the case if you were running two different size turbos, the first one being pretty small to reduce lag and the larger one for the higher end

if you unit is brand new it should work, I certainly wouldn't be wanting a recon replacement as per you pm. I don't see why you should pay anything else, the unit hasn't been supplied to work so they need to get it working. A phone call to clarion may shed more light

you can get it welded. a couple of members have had the sdame problem and it looks like this can be common. Welding cost near £100. The same price you can pay for a second hand OEM exhaust of ebay. Oterwise a prime time to upgrade but not worth buying a new OEM as they are similar price to a aftermarket item to the club

to the club If its mainly motorway you can get around 27-30 mpg. Around town your looking at 21mpg. Have to say not really a car best for economy but at least it has a far bigger fuel tank than the tiny one in the Type R
