  1. So he's sent me a couple of pics of the bad bits of the car which I shall now share What do we think, he did seem to list anything he thought I should know, no matter how small so neither of us have our time wasted Just spoke to my insurance company(sky) they want a deposit of £45 to make my final 5 payments come in at £97 a month. Full year is £842, that's with them managing to get nearly £200 off from last time they quoted me. Worryingly though they won't insure it being an import with having addition security as imports aren't thatcham approved! Excellent to know that when I had my old zed they shouldn't of even insured it!
  2. Evening. Is the rubber weather strip( runs along the top of the door against the window) an expensive replacement does anyone know? A zed I'm looking at buyings drivers weather strip at the rear edge of the door is sitting just off the door itself. Greatly appreciated if anyone happens to know
  3. That's one thing I don't often use in my coup. Hearing always on low to keep windows clear & the car a nice warm temp
  4. Bloody hell lol. Mines about 5 minutes, through the village at 30 then at a steady 50 down the backroads it's still not long
  5. Ill be trying to not use mine for work. It's about 4 miles each way so it would never warm up lol. 75 miles is shocking though
  6. Mmmm shiny carbon goodness. Is the RSW or whatever stuff it was still available? Some of that was massively expensive
  7. Now that's a cool shot. Love the background & the colours reflecting on the car
  8. Very much Dave, iirc I also shared the carbon whore title with my last zed haha
  9. I think the gunmetal looks lovely when it's really shiny. I'm still waiting on a response from him about the mentioned 'blemish' I got a much better quote from direct line earlier too, £603
  10. No worries. I'm not on here often so if you need me to then you will be best pm'ing me
  11. I actually went zed, 1.6 golf which was boring as fook & not good on fuel, then BMW e46 318 coup, again hated that lol, finally onto the coupe, lovely car, very low miles & well speced but yeah it's about as entertaining as watching paint dry. Yeah fuel has gone up in price from my last one but I used £30 a week in it & I get about the same as the zed. 2.0 141bhp is shocking
  12. I've got him on Facebook, I can ask if you haven't got hold of him
  13. Dave yeah it is. 2.0 SIII auto. Does at the minute about 120ish
  14. So about the same as my 2.0 coupe then. More than live with that
  15. So what are auto owners getting around town out of say £30 at the minute then?
  16. I got some money back on the PPI issues, but my girlfriend works at a bank so we could go through all the hoops without employing these money grabbing snakes who've popped up with all the claim companies recently. I went straight through too, glad I did
  17. Exactly what I thought, massively shafted, it was only about 2 months in to my renewal. Said something like £500 with a rebate of £300 ish. Then factor £100+ deposit on the new insurance
  18. sky wanted getting on for £300 to end it with them, then I'm sure Aviva quoted me £500 odd a year, about £50 a month which is fine by me
  19. Sometimes it's not even offered just put on. In my case it was going back 10 years to the first so I just told them being only 18 at the time you wouldn't let me have a loan without it, got me my money back lol. Just done a quote through uswitch's site. Cheapest came out at £826, still more than I'd like to pay lol
  20. Exactly, 10 years of loans from 18-28 lol. Just tried another quote on aviva as hey were real cheap before but can't quote me online now :s sent me to one other place & it came out at £1700 odd! Not happy with the £100 a month Sky wanted for the remaining 8 months when I looked at changing a few months back, considered paying my way out & going to aviva at £500 odd a year but that's not looking available now
  21. I got a decent amount actually Cragus. Only got about half left though lol. This car is a good couple hours away so I wondered if I bought it I could bank transfer it so I don't have to go back again to collect it. Found natwest's limit is 20k a day but don't know if its instant
  22. I need another auto anyway cragus so it's import all the way for me, plus I prefer the cheaper tax lol. Dave I'd love to be back again, I've never stopped wanting another since the white one went & now I've got some ppi money left I can buy one & worry about selling mine after.
  23. I've noticed before that some have the bottom half of the wheel in the same colour too & the gear knob in a manual. Not entirely sure if its correct or not. Seems more than worth it's money to me, good mileage, better speced than other similar priced zeds I've seen. If I'm not interested & can take it this week he's going to keep it, can't say I blame him lol
  24. Here we go. Linky http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/300839398451?redirect=mobile
