Even just if anybody has seen it about for a general overall condition would help. If he had replied my plan was to find out & give out as much info & pictures as possible then see if he was willing to meet somewhere. My logic being that if we tell everything needed to be known it wouldn't waste anyone's time. A straight swap would of been ideal, just got a load of ppi money but was planning on saving it towards the next house, which in turn I thought would keep the fiancée off my back as I hadn't spent anything to get the car I love BUT she's still totally against it lol

Unfortunately that's my old zed mate. I've been zed less for around 2 years now, nearly had it back earlier this year too

In terms of what you get for your money, or this case swap, the deal has to be better the other persons way. Five & half years newer, better spec'd & much less mileage. Just a shame it's no where near as much fun as a zed

It's not the top of my colour choice list but a zed for free with decent mileage & should be in pretty good position for its upcoming mot shouldn't be passed over in my opinion. I've not had a response since I email the address he have me rather than through eBay so I don't think anything will come of it if I'm honest

Hi folks, long time since I've posted on here again but I thought I'd see if anyone knows of a zed I've been in contact about. It's a 52 plate auto base model on the pants 17s, has the equivilant of 49k on it & is silver in colour, reg is GY52 EWX. It's from the Bromley area which is bloody miles from me so if anyone knows the car or has any info it old be greatly appreciated as I've been looking into swapping my 2008 Hyundai coupe for it. I've been keeping my eye out if any cheaper ones come about but if I'm honest I can't be arsed to advertise my car so id be looking at swaps again

The bumper was smoothed before I bought the car, he tried telling me it was like that when I sold it but I still have the pics I advertised it with which clearly show it wasn't. It had other problems too, drivers mirror no longer folds & drivers window doesn't always come back up when you want it too. Again neither problems were there when I had it

Tarmac I bought the car like that AND sold it perfectly fine, what's happened to it I don't know cos the guys only done 3k in a year & half. It's like it's drawn the paint into the filler & has a not so pretty yellow circle. Kinda like a huuuugggeee spot on a face lol

Well I'm now back home......... Without the zed Where the bumper had been smoothed the filler was showing through the paint & the replacement bonnet I bought & had painted was bubbling along the front edge so I head to use my head & walk away but not before been told to F€%K off first

Hopefully never again lol, unless i choose to,say for a 370 etc. If i do get it back ill update it as its not like that anymore

Thats my thinking but I'm very impulsive lol. Obviously if it wasn't nice enough for its money & didn't feel right anymore then I'd have to walk away. As much as I'd not want to I think I'd manage to. Maybe you all feel the same about your Zeds but when I saw it on eBay, clicked it being white then saw the reg I instantly felt warm inside & happy lol. Sad I know but the Zeds the nicest thing I've had & had no choice to part ways

I'm open to others but I only parted with the zed for the house. Another plus point is its still got all the install & that I left in it too. Plus it's white lol

Well I sold it back then for £7100 I think & he's after £6000 for it. Originally he wanted the coupe & £2750. It's got 85k on it the add said but wether that's him trying to work the actual figure out or what it says on the dash I don't know

I did have a buyer for mine at £4500 but he could t get a loan to pay for it. To be honest my cars not really been for sale, was just asked & the timing was right with the zed being about. Yeah the coups a cat c but it's never been involved in any sort of accident or bump, just fire damage. At the end of the day they don't have the greatest name going & to be fair they should be seen a little better, loaded with toys as standard & not seemingly built any worse than another car. As you say though it just doesn't match up to the zed. None of the cars I've had since have or will lol. It's purely a case of want for me

As the title says, how far would you go to get a zed? or get another zed which is my current dilemma. Most of you will know back at the end of 2010 i sold my pearl white z to buy my first house, however last week i spotted it back up for sale & immediately wanted it back. My problem should be very simple but heres where the love of the z plays a big part lol. Im currently running a 2008 08 Hyundai Coupe 2.0 auto with all the toys & most importantly 11000 miles on it, ive been talking to the guy who has the zed pretty much all week now trying to sort a deal out which ive currently got it down to the coupe & £1750 his way. Now the Coupe was a cat C very shortly after the first owner running it in, was unfortunate enough to have the passenger 1/4 burnt by the car next to it resulting in a write off. I dont really want to put that much in ontop of the car to be fair but how do you guys see it? he wants 6k ideally. I really want it back,dont really use a car anymore for more than when i choose really,i dont use it for work everyday etc so fuels not much of an issue but the insurance at a stupid £102 a month til August & having to borrow the extra cash will pretty much make me skint all the time but i just cant stop trying to find a way of making it work lol What do you guys think on the subject?
