hey guys im guttered to say this but my zed may be up for sale soon just trying to figure out my best avenue, when i bought the car i had intended to purchase a second car and have the zed as my toy. Unfortunately i havent had the cash to do this and cant afford to keep running the zed up and down the country and hate myself for the fact it is constantly sat at 70 with cruise control on. My zed is sunset orange 53 plate registered on the 3rd of january 2004, it has the alezan leather (drivers side needs re colouring estimated at £100 or 300 to replace the panels. The car has the rays alloys, slight kerb damage but nothing that stands out. the car has covered 34000 miles with history. It doesnt have the sat nav or the park sensors, but does have all other toys. The radio has been repaired thanks to help on the forum and as yet there are no other mechanical faults with the vehicle. The only other blemish on this car is slight dent/ scratch damage on front passenger arch which i have several qoutes of 150-180 to repair. I'd be interested to see what people on here believe my car is really worth as i know the dealers say book price is between 10400 and 12900 with 60k on the clock. thanks alot guys

hope the work is going well but i recently saw a zed that makes urs look pristine condition was on autotrader 2003 import been rolled only panel not destroyed was drivers door (lhd) still wanted 4.5k for it

hey steve i test drove a couple of zeds before taking the risk of buying mine over the phone but the box is renowned for being a heavy box and from the cars i tested 3rd gear can feel a bit off but i have not yet experieneced a problem with the 5th gear. fingers crossed i never get problems with my box. welcome to the site alan

orange was my second choice as i did originally want the azure blue but the car does look great. there are other sunset cars in my area but just shows the northeast has taste . the car stands out more in the sunset and as everyone has said they never look as dirty as black or silver cars if you dont have the time.

Red 02 import on base at RAF Wittering spotted last week aswell as a silver car 2 weeks previous???

il never c the 38 mpg again as that was painful to drive the zed like that

the figures iv seen for the 350 state 31.5mpg expected using v power i average 34mpg on a 75mph motorway run and up2 38 mpg at 60mph. This drops by about 0.5-1 mpg with bp bt no real dif for economy when u get it on twisties.

shell v power is 98 bp ultimate is 97 and shell is generally cheaper in my experience some people on here say tesco do a 99 octane but i havent checked yet

i wouldv changed the unit but cant afford that just yet

i know its a bit diff but i considered a z4 before i got my 350 but found i struggled to get in the car and when told people got nothing but stick. even if the zed is a nissan it commands respect everywhere i go. Even the 350 is better in all aspects

were u in shields a few weeks back? might of been u i saw. theres alot of guys from the area on here so just post when ur around and im sure some1 will turn up

tried stopping a few zeds lately came across 3 zeds in sunderland and south shields lately black azure blue and silver but so far no luck. i know 1 is a doorman on glass spider/ paddy wacks though so hopefully speak to him soon. Do know that atleast the black and silver cars are new owners so see what i can do

eventually got it done actually found getting the system out harder than the repair ha ha thanks for the spot on guide tho no hidden suprises! Just hope iv done it right now

thanks chris didnt realise could be such a large diff and i know wth v-power im pulling 34mpg on a run and im sure the official figures are 31.5 so guess ill stick to better stuff

the bird view sat nav was an option on the 53 plate car i tried to buy one but unfortunately got pipped to it. guttered got my toy sat outside now tho
