update on the saleof my beloved zed guys, in the end i had too many timewasters backing out at the lastminute due to the finance even though the condition of the sale was for both parties to pay the finance company at the same time in the other parties presence and no money would come my way. So as i had originally only offered to zed for private sale to try and help out a new owner i eventually gave up and traded her in. The zed then sold for 11k 5 days later in a garage with another zed which has been there for a few months now (albeit it is the soft top). devastatingly i found out the following week that i have a small amount of cash coming my way soon which meant i could have kept the zed so hope to see me in another zed as soon as i can. Just want to say thanks for all the help u guys having given me and i really hope i can come back to this group with good news very soon.

ive been told by a dealer that it is the same running gear engine and gear box as the zed however the engine is slighty detuned

vauxhall zafira cheap decent drive 7 seats and a boot and if she gets the 1.9cdti 150bhp it will give good performance and economy (will pick 1 up on that model for about 9 grand) not many others which give the room but the merc is a really good vehicle for what it is. only prob with zafira is can be a bit plasticy on the interior

welcome mate and im pretty sure that the diff in that 13bhp is the newer car is quicker in the 60 sprint by 0.1 sec whereas the older car is said to have slighty better pull from the mid range instead of the whole range. not a great deal in it tho and either way an amazing engine

welcome again mate as some of the lads have said u prob would be better getting a normal zed and doing a wrap as it would be cheaper in the short term and would protect your body work. Also before getting an import check with the insurance as im 23 and treated myself with my zed for my 23rd bday insurance cost me 1000 on a uk car but they wanted 1250 for an import. good look with the search tho and im sure the lads on here will help you find a good motor

just remember to consider the extra insurance as i considered an import but it increased my insurance from 1000 to 1250

APOLOGIES again guys as i have noticed i havent mentioned the number of previous owners on the car. I hope this doesnt put people off but this is not a 2 owner vehicle although it has been looked after. I am officially the 8th owner of the vehicle HOWEVER a hpi check will show that some of these were more than likely dealers as 1st owner had car for 1 day, 2nd about 1.5 years, 3rd 3/4 days, 4th about 3 weeks etc etc previous owner had car for year and a half. This is reflected in the price of the vehicle and is being pointed out as dont want anyone to get any suprises and dont want to waste yours or my time. i have owned the car since june and other than the bose system fault she has never skipped a beat. she has been my only car in that time and used to travel up and down the country as im in the military. This car is 100% genuine and in my opinion solid, i have never abused her and she is only being sold due to circumstances i want to buy a house (just got engaged). any inspection is welcome i garauntee no one will be dissapointed if you test drive this car

welcome to the club and why white it will be out of fashion soon better off wiff a standard colour and customising the paint it if you just want it to be different. there are a few zeds for sale so good luck finding the right one for you. Any probs just ask on here the guys are extremely helpfull and there is a wealth of knowledge

I would like to formally apologise to anyone who may feel misled by my advert as i failed to mention there is outstanding finance on the vehicle. unfortunately my financial situation doesnt allow me to pay this off before the sale and therefore the buyer and myself would either have to come up with a written agreement to show that the finance would be paid and i will be liable for any losses they sustained if i failed to uphold this or for their added safety the payment could be made direct to the finance company!!!! I have tried to be as honest as i possibly can be about this car and invite people to ask any questions they may have and i will answer as honestly as possible.

exactly thats why i decided upon that price esp as i planned on pxing for a cheap run about at a dealer this week so as i said id rather let someone take the car to enjoy t than make maney from it

i was originally planning on a higher price and the fact i now have 2 zed fanatics advising me of such an approach i am seriously considering it. However i do want a quick sale, but it is seriously breaking my heart to sell this car to the point i honestly believe i may cry when i hand over the keys to this car.

hey welcome to the forum i considered a vx220 before i got the zed but couldnt find one which had been crashed repaired just proves the zed is a much better/ safer bet

nissan 350z for sale quick sale wanted hence £9500ono Car is sunset orange and has been owned by myself since start of june 2009. Car is in good condition for age with only minor blemishes being: slight dent/scratch on n/s front wheel arch, some wear on drivers seat edge (can be recoloured), minor kerb damage to alloys. car is running on the standard bridgestones with approx 3.5mm tread Car was registered on 2/01/2004, and comes with full nissan service history including a p3 service on 05/05/08 at 23148 miles. Only problem i have had with the car is the common fault with the bose sound system (left side cut out) which i have rectified when i first got the car and have had no further problems. I will try to get pictures of the car on here but until then if anyone is interested contact me with a mobile number and i will send pics of the car via mms. I am contactable anytime this week and decided on this price as i have been offered 9500 as a px but would rather see a fellow member enjoying my zed.

thanks guys i hav been told by 1 dealer that the zed is actually increasing in value by 150 a month. i was just trying to figure if better selling private or trade in as i want to get out of debt then save for my next zed
