  1. Took the car out today the lights came on when I was on the dual carrigeway. The battery isn't too bad but Il stick it on charge anyway. Il check the brake switch but I dunno I got a feeling it's abs related. As they changed my tyres and I asked them to look about fitting bushes. Il check the switch aswell though as it can't hurt.
  2. Thanks guys. I guesss it's a process of elimination Will report back
  3. Good point actually its been away for 4 weeks plus its cold here thanks Will put the battery on charge tomorrow Especially with the baltic weather moving in recently. Could be some crud on the sensor too. Good point as the decats was taken off and then put back on for the MOT but I thought that it would log a code
  4. I still need to check 100% but Id want some ARB bushes that would fit my cusco bars front and back. Some compression arm bushes aswell the whitelines seem cheaper so a set of those and a few others possibly. Anyone want to jump in so we can get 10% off? Il put a think in my sig if you want jez?

  6. Hi Guys, My lights are coming on the dash, traction, slip, abs and the other ones. Now it isnt storing the code so I cant read it. I have changed my tyres to 225/40/18 but before I was running 235/40/18. Its also not just the slip light thats coming on. It might be that but is there anything else it might be before I check the tyres? Abs sensor or low brake fluid maybe? Changing the tyres will be my last resort so please dont mention that first or say well this is why... Anything I can check before this? Thanks

  8. awsome didnt like the end though
  9. Normal is normal Snow will take off in second, retard throttle input and not let you rev above about 4k. I found it more dangerous personally. Power is fun It will hold each gear longer, give you sharper throttle responce. It will accelerate in gear rather then kicking down. Makes it much nicer to drive and sharpens things up. There is no fuel consumption difference between them though not even snow
  10. Ive heard that they are bringing out a baby type boxster which will be cheaper than this?

really? i never had a problem, i suppose you just think further ahead with your driving like you do with advanced driving courses so you are in the right gear as you need it with the revs where you want them. agreed though that the Zed is a far lazier driving style. you can rely on the more instant torque with out needing to much input. its like the difference between an auto and a manual both do the same job, but in completely different manners, and one requires more input from the driver than the other. neither one is better as it depends on what conditions you use it in to where its strengths lie. both cars require completely different driving styles to get the best out of them. if you used a zed technique of driving in the S2K it would feel rubbish. if you drove the zed like the S2k the car wouldn't thank you for it. Rich why do you even bother, You've owned one what do their opinions matter? the last thread got locked But seriously some people cant see past the zed. I love mine but can appricate other cars and the s2k is on my list to own. Will I like it? maybe I will maybe I wont. But atleast I will have tried it.

  23. I run winter tyres on my other car and keep them at standard pressures. At above 5c the tyres are far to soft. At about 3c and under you feel the grip and they aren't overly squishy. You have to remember the side Walls will be sqidgy too
