I'd change the oil yourself IMO its super duper easy. There is no dipstick so when you put in the key press the reset button 3 times when on the tempreture display. It will show you the battery voltage. Now scroll up till it shows you loads of info including the oil level. Turn the key once and then scroll back to it and it will show you in litres what you have. This is only accurate when cold and level though.

HMM thats not good. ATF is usually a cherry/reddish colour. You get a full change done?

No LSD but traction controll actually works in these cars. I don't think the car is getting hot enough tbh. Even then 30 would be way off the mark 25 would be the best

I had a hks rep. It was loud but it was very bassy boomy and typically "jap". Not the sound I was going for. I like the Ferrari-ish noise. Deep but not too deep and a lil bit of rasp. You could drill holes but not he sleekest method but free. I looked into Some sort of ollettle mod I'm sure that would be possible. Electronic cut outs could work too.

I think you have to change pretty much all the dash. Tbh the old ones arent bad at all. Interiors as long as comfortable don't bother me. I like the 350 though its focused and cool IMO.

I used to run 235/40/18 on the front with 245/45/18. No TCS light. I now run 225/40/18 245/40/18. They are way cheaper and there is a difference in the weight of the tyre too.

£2k? maybe £800-£900 with labour from a garage. Very good mod, gives good Gaines but poor bhp per £ though. Headers aren't value for performance. They just aren't. They're a total PITA to fit with the engine still in, it's possible but expensive. Headers are something you should consider alongside cams as part of a proper N/A build, they're unlikely to give you more than 10bhp for your £2k otherwise. The fact that you've asked this question suggests that you shouldn't consider such a build until you do a LOT more research. DB

Ricey I dont think it is the gylcol problem as it would be loud about 2k rpm. You said the ATF had been changed and they would have noticed it then. With auto's if your putting on no power (nearly) they sometimes jerk a little. I agree some injector cleaner or a tank of V power should maybe sort you out. OBD-2 wont tell you much and unless you got a reader I wouldnt bother TBH. Really for anything like that you need STAR. So was I right about Merc's or was I right The engine is a corker isnt it. Its like no matter what rpm it snaps your neck. The CD changer is cool isnt it. Needs a remap now for an extra 20ish bhp and a slight raise in mpg
