Valid point! Sorry to hijack this thread but just quickly...how is the rear number plate attached to the zed?? Is it bolted internally or stuck on? Need to change my plates but scratching my head over the rear Heat it with a hair drier and pull it gently but firmly from the edge and work across It will be double sided tape. The left over stuff should be able to be rolled off by hand with hair drier

Id space your wheels 20mm as well, will make it look a lot more aggressive I think spacers are next on my list, the wheels already have a pretty good offset though so i dunno if 20mm would be too much? I was thinking 15mm but i'm not too sure You don't need spacers, you will feck up the feel of the car. The car looks cracking mate, dont ruin it by going all drift wideboy look. Y pipe back as a minimum unless you can pick up a second hand box. Cheapest and most reliable and sporty sound are scorpion and cobra resonated. Both nice without being loud

The 300ps engine had alot of internal changes also. Just not as many as the hr which was basically a full new block.

Yeah the 300 and 313 both have the same tax band and new gearbox

The facelift 2006-2007 model had the new gearbox too. The majority of issues with gearbox's seem minor though and very rarely result in failure. If you can afford the extra cash for a facelift car I would go for it but remember tax etc is in a higher band at around 475ish a year I think

The amount of cash it cost to get the cage put in there is no way I'd be pulling it back out to powder coat it You wouldn't believe the amount of work involved in even installing a bolt in cage. The cage started life in blue so had to get powdercoated before installing also so that was more cash lol

Gary there's a place online www.lidsdirect.co.uk where I got mines from. There's a few shops in Glasgow that do them. To try some on and then buy online if cheaper.

Ive not seen anybody be aggressive on this thread at all so think referring to people as keyboard warriors is a bit out of place. All this is just a discussion. I will quit plainly put it on paper that I certainly am not a keyboard warrior and travel south regularly for meets. So if anybody has issues with me feel free to voice them
