  1. bugger, time to call the warranty people they are gonna love me, and i need to get those stock bulbs back in, which is going to annoy me. oh well, stupid design by nissan, a circuit you can short leading straight to the bcm with no protection. makes me surprised they even bothered with fuses in the car part of my job is to make sure everything survives when short circuited and is easily sorted. maybe i should go and nissan on the head.
  2. Yes very easy, and in most cases you wont ever do damage. Its when you go shorting 2 circuits that arent meant to be connected that you get into trouble
  3. You need more wax on your rims mate. read my mind, did it last night took the wheels off one by one and did the brembos and wheel arches too. finishing it this afternoon
  4. it is highly possible i could spoit zeds there as thats where i visit often
  5. i have two spare white led ones mate, i cant remember how much they cost, ill check when i get back from tescos. you dont need to take it all apart, but now we knoe why it stopped working we can prevent it. they do improve the look by alot also have blue if thats your taste?
  6. unless we have already caused it all i wanted to do was turn them round so they didnt shine in my eyes honeslty what a stupid system! why does it not have its own relay or fuse built in im going to percivere now i know what to aviod, i have the system out of the car so its not going to do any damage just now. im sure the fizz came from the unit though not the bcm

  14. hmm thats a plan i think that might work, only thing is, the wheels are meant to take huge amounts of stress so im sure this aint gonna be easy
  15. its the trolley jack that sinks. the scissor is only lifting one side and had a big enough base to spead the load. i would just be woried the trolley jack will slip off a bit of wood it is on a slight slope. the trolley jack tilted due to one wheel sinking faster than the other.
  16. So i went to jack the car up today, used the scissor jack to get the front high enough to get the trolley jack under, going fine so far, begin jacking up with trolley, then it stopped going up and the trolley jack started slipping to an angle, i quickly lowered tha car back down as the jack had actually started sinking through the tarmac so i cant get the car in the air... suggestions
