you can get them repaired, R35LEE used to do this although im not sure he has the time these days, might be worht a shot.

as rich suggested further back, just buy a couple of toggle switches and take the wiring out the back of the original switches and into the toggle switches instead.

you may aswell just move the switches to the glove box then but its easy enough to wire a second switch in if you wanted to keep appearances.

i suppose you could pick up the blanking plate from nissan and reuse the original switches. the idea is to have them accessible to both passenger and driver though. not sure where you'd put them that would look right

this is noticable on white range rovers with the big brake option pack. because the car is so heavy, the brakes are the size of the earth and the customer doesnt ever bother washing it properly.
