I presume you thinking like a turbo car wind the boost a little and gain a big chunk of torque and BHP , with regards gains like this on a N/A to be 100% honest you aren,t going to get them. Nissan have turned out a engine that is pretty spot on
I wasnt thinking of a turbo car as such, they do provide much cheaper power gains of course
I just thought that say a 2-3% rise wasnt a great deal but as you say they seem to have churned out a good motor albeit a little stiffled in the rpm department maybe. Compared to say my other car, the CRX which maybe is a little stiffled as standard but on a much smaller scale of engine the gains are greater even with generic chips
Some people, myself included know the benefits of a decent map on drivablility and power delivery rather than raw power (depending on applications) however to get the power hungry "pub modders" on board the hard figures matter i suppose
