    Springs

dont get me wrong it will have a laser align after springs but i am not worried about a marginal amount of extra camber as Ian says. In certain ways camber is good for handling

  9. Is this the same ecu as the one fitted to one of the first twin turbo Z's? I forget the guys name now....
  10. better
  11. PROV SOLD
  12. cheers james, been out for a blat tonight and it does sound nice and deep low down
  13. Yea no problem, the filter is not overly big being a mushroom and the jwt kit doesnt use a chrome pipe if im not mistaken? I must say fitting is fiddly, its quite awkward to get to the bolts with the heatshield in place but you have to fit it as one unit with the bolts loose so it can be moved into place
  14. ALOT in a good way! Its not intrusive just lovely roar when you press the throttle
  15. I have had a change of plan so my induction kit is up for sale, comes with everything apart from the chrome intake pipe (it looks too bling to take off!) Filter is still in great condition, the kit had only covered about 2k miles So in light of me keeping the pipe im after £70 delivered anywhere in UK, bear in mind the whole kit is £300 on Envy's website! here's pic of it on my car at present....
  16. Had an awesome day Shame there were no Z's i could show who's boss, there was a G35 there but that was painfully slow. I got to destroy a few scoob's and beat my personal best lap
  17. This has been for sale since the summer, i doubt he'll get anywhere near 11 imho
  18. I made 500odd bhp out of a 126k mile supra with the original engine and its still doing trackdays, however high mileage is hard to shift to the majority of people with the lack of knowledge that if you look after things they last. I went for a low mileage one because id never had anything like this, id always owned 100k plus cars, just my preference now.... I suppose there's the same argument for imports as someone mentioned earlier about the high milers, if you dont have a good budget then you can pick up a cheaper import but still own a Z
  19. PROV SOLD deposit taken
  20. The thing i found with a Z is that when i first drove one on a test drive a year or two ago i was unimpressed after a 10min drive. But now i have one and have racked up some miles the view changed so much, its the whole package you need to look at There have been many cars i have test drove and liked only to find out over the next few weeks they suck probable why i have now had 13 cars after 6 years driving
  21. http://www.lyddenracecircuit.co.uk/ Saturday 26th sept £150 for the day Seems to be some confident drivers here, lets see you in action! I will be running the Rex
  22. Road racing, the key to a cars performance I wouldnt say the ring is a great indication, its a little long for some smaller cars..... Anywho tricky as i said dont expect the awe inspiring grunt of a supra
  23. Wipe the floor with a 330Ci, the old man has one and id say they are on par just with a stock Z The M3 will out perform in all boxes, i hate them but they are a fantastic road car, they are much more in R34 territory imho Launching a lesser powered car is easier, my old corolla gti was the bee's knees cause it had the perfect amount of (or lack of!) power to spin the wheels fully equalling a perfect launch
  24. I **** all over 330ci's mate lol, E46 M3's aint even pullin away more than 1-2 car lengths and they always pussy out on the corners! im sure you wont, an m3 will eat a Z hands down (i hate myself for saying that) but then they sound like rattly tin cans Anyway even with coilovers etc on a supra the general 'saggyness' of an old car is still there, you just mask the problem by taking away some travel in the rest of the worn suspension, plus the evolutions of suspension have come a long way You'll love it just dont expect to keep nailing those flat-poo porsches with a big grin and a wave
  25. Just seems to wag its tail a little, but i am the 'king' of late braking lol, grow some balls man! I think its more that you feel the slight movements more as its a lot more 'tight' than an old supra with tired suspension....
