  1. iracing is also brilliant, they have an offer at the moment, 3 months for $10, where its usually $12 per month, the only problem with that is there isnt as many mods so not many leagues, also rfactor is a one off payment for the game, and then thats it.

Im also in a team with Rfactor, its taken seriously when in a league, and some of the guys are very fast.

for those who are interested my last race was in Malaysia, and i finished 3rd from 20 drivers.

the league that im now in has Safety car drivers, race stewards, and live broadcasts for the races. the leagues that i race in are F1 leagues, but theres different types of leagues.

If anyone is interested in this, or would like to join a league, i know of a couple that are brilliant.

  2. dont know why i searched this, but came across this thread. i have been playing this for over a year, and hate to be geeky, but im in a league that runs the latest F1 mod. i think this game is awesome, graphics aint the best, but are pretty good, but the racing with people and not against a computer is the best thing about it.

  3. Thanks for all the advice, forgot to mention i havent done 2000 miles in it yet.

Anyway, the dealership contacted me today to say they will repair all the faults, with no cost to myself. im well happy with the outcome.

Nissan were quick to reply to my emails, although i have lost confidence in the dealership and asked nissan to oversee all repairs to make sure there not bodged to keep me happy for a few more months.

sorry if i sound picky or mardy, but ive always wanted a 350z, and want it to be spot on.

  4. the clutch sounds like the release bearing at fault.

i also told them about the faults a month after purchase, but i know they will deny this.

i have now emailed the dealer and nissan themselves.

keep you all posted and thanks for advise.

  5. well sent them an email telling them the issues, and told them what will happen if its not sorted. im not one for second chances, but somehting as serious as this, i better atleast give them untill end of tomorrow to sort it.

what a joke! its just ruining the enjoyment of having a zed now!

  6. I bought a 54 reg 350Z from a Nissan dealership. i also purchased 1 years warrenty with the vehicle. i also have it on finance. All the faults were there from when i purchased the car.

I purchased this car on november the 10th, a month later rang up and told them the faults, no call back, another call a month later, where i was told the salesman who sold me the car is on holiday so they cant do anythin with it untill hes back, again no call back.......another call, which also made a complaint about not getting a call back, then they actually did call me back, at this point i booked it in a month later.....i should also explain i work every weekend, so getting the car booked in is a struggle.

i have a file on my desktop with all the faults listed, which has the date of when the file was created.

    the issues i have are

    1. Clicking from rear axle.

    2. clunking from rear when braking.

    3. Clutch creaking.

    4. rear washer inop.

    5. battery cover missing.

    6. left speaker crackles (only certain tunes)

    7. boot latch does not release on first press of button.

    8. Boot would not hold up when ice covering rear screen.

So i booked it back into the dealership to have the repairs carried out. there answers to each fault were:

    1. Rear splines need greasing, it can be sorted.....they didnt actually say if its covered on the warrenty.

    2. never mentioned this.

    3. charecteristic of the vehicle.

    4. Needs a new washer pump, warrenty company will only cover the front pump but not the rear.

    5. it can be sorted......not actually saying if they will pay.

    6. didnt mention this on phone.

    7. its beacuse the car has a heavy boot.

    8. same as above, due to a heavy boot.

So....im very very angry with this, and refused to have the car back untill its fixed. there sales manager is yet to ring me, but im not one for giving second chances especially im being given idiot answers. i also forgot to mention, im a vehicle technician myself so i know whats what.

im going to email trading standereds, the company of the dealership, nissan themselves, and the finance company.

im not going to say what dealership it is yet, untill a decision is made on what they will do.

    Any help will be appreciated.

  7. signed and posted on facebook, but unfortunatly we will never win, we have to keep getting fuel, the only way to stop it is if everyone stops going to work, therefore goverment lose out big time....and this would never happen.

  8. yep, i agree with getting attention, all my friends love it, and all the boy racers try and get themselves noticed by dropping a gear going past me..... with a Z, i dont need to prove its fast.

i park my car down the road from where i work, a collegue sits in his car while having lunch, and he saw someone walking around my car taking pictures.

ive had mine for a few months, and i love it still!

  10. im in one of these situations, im a vehicle tech, did work at jaguar, now at ford, and im wanting to change career or work from home, wanted to go into motor sport but dont know where to look, or want to buy damaged cars and break them, sell parts off, but havent got a garage, so have to wait to buy my next home, also i have had a go at stock market last year, made some money, but now im really wanting to really get into it and see if i can make that go well for me.

if anyone has advice on anythin on stocks and shares, then PM, not tryin to hi-jack the thread, so ill shut up now. thanks.

  11. if you have the proof of the tyres you ordered, like an email or something, then that part should be easy.

the alignment issue, well the ****ed that up, they should correct that, contact there customer services on that one i think.

the EML being on, only thing i can suggest is get it diagnosed, if its something they have done you should be able to prove that, i.e. they did that as they worked on that are of the car.

But i would get onto customer services straight away.

  12. i had a friend who told me of a friend that had tyre insurance, his tread was low, so he shoved a nail in it, let it go flat, then drove it so it scrubbed the edges badly, then claimed off it, they questioned it at first, but he explained that if the tyre goes flat or loses pressure then it would scrub the edges.

sounds fishy when i said a friend of a friend, but it wasnt me, i can get tyres pretty cheap and fit them myself, so never had a problem with getting them.

    :)

  13. that would indicate the discs have got hot and warped, more likely to stay like that and vibrate under braking, you may get lucky and it goes, just carry on driving and if it vibrates under braking then new discs and pads would be required.
