  1. Unfortunately a common problem with these wheels when it comes to refurb as they do not have a paint code. The consensus is that the wheels are painted in a 2 stage process starting out black with silver blown over the top. A good bodyshop/refurb place should be able to match the colour though.... maybe. Bit of a pain really as i need only one doing and don't really want to repaint all four in case of a mismatch. The inner rim is the same colour as the outer rim not black.
  2. As per the sticker on my car its KAV. Certainly was a good match for the Chipex kit I just bought.
  3. Hi all Anyone had any success with matching the colour of these wheels or have you just had all the wheels painted the same colour? Having the same problem at the moment trying to get one wheel done, didn't realise it would be so difficult! My local Nissan dealer does full alloy dip, repair and respray but are having difficulty getting the colour, they are currently in touch with Nissan but from what I have read on here that wont help. Cheers Chris

    My 370Z 110/370

  6. 30k to spend? It would be second hand for me and probably an Audi TTRS, having owned a TTS which is a very good car the TTRS is awesome! Apologies to those who might be offended by the suggestion of a German car!
  7. Not any more just bought the last one! I would recommend Velvis cars though good people to do business with and very happy with my new purchase.
  8. Hi all back to the world of Z ownership (used to have a 350z roadster) and after 2 Audi's a V6 TT and a TTS i have today just taken ownership of 110/370 in Quartz, lovely it is too! Will no doubt be back on here fairly regularly. Cheers Chris
  9. If you want to see how much influence your vote has go here: http://www.voterpower.org.uk/ In my area my vote is worth 0.066 of a vote because it has been Conservative for about 20 years and a very strong seat for them, hence no one from any party has bothered to visit me except for the odd leaflet. If you live in a marginal seat Gordon Brown would be sipping tea in your living room apologising for being a dickhead.
  10. This is a popular replacement all of a sudden, guess its the numerous potholes! Had to have mine done yesterday as it was fairly noisy and i was pretty surprised or should i say gutted at the cost, the part was £304.73 less VAT. Grand total to the money grabbing spanner monkeys of £434.43 fitted! Needless to say if another one goes i will looking into getting the part cheaper else where.
  11. Hi Funny that i have just dropped my roadster at the dealers today for a low speed knock/rattle coming from the underside, maybe the front drivers side suspension but not too sure, anyway i will post there findings if any when i get it back. Cheers Chris
  12. Webuyanycar.com any any any any...etc No worries i can see with you its black where its at!! Good luck with the hunt! Chris
  13. What about this one its cetainly closer for you to check out in person: http://www.beckevans.co.uk/used-nissan- ... t-1170.htm I bought my Roadster from them last year and i have cetainly been happy with mine. Cheers Chris
  14. I have had a roadster now for a full year and as i have said before in posts like this at this time of year 9 times out of 10 its due to the cold weather. The fabric stiffens up and wont fold properly and the motors struggle to fold it. I believe the handbook recommends that the roof isnt folded in air temps less than +5 to avoid these issues.
  15. Hiya and welcome! Ah like me, you bought your Roadster in winter and i think this is the cause of your roof worries!! I got mine in January last year so as you can imagine not living in Florida the roof didn't come down very often, in fact when i first lowered it, it would'nt fold away without a couple of attempts. I sprayed the joints with silicon grease and lowered the roof when i could, weather allowing, and occasionally it would stick but as the weather got warmer and summer arrived, happy days!! Basically all summer it was fine as i had the roof down regularly but its been up for a while now as its been slightly damp down here to say the least and last week i tried it and , yeah you guessed it, it stuck. It will be fine though once the good weather is with us again, face it its a roadster they don't like the cold!! Chris
  16. I love my roadster and and if you have'nt owned one before it takes a little getting used to as obviously it is a little noisier with the roof up than a tin top but nothing much really, just different. With the roof down though, if you can imagine how much fun a coupe is to drive the roadster adds another dimension of fun plus the roar of the exhaust is much louder! There are no real issues with the roof as far as i know, its very hard wearing and a good seal, although they can stick when raising if it has'nt been used for a long time i.e in the winter, but a bit of silicon grease on the joints and away you go. 18. Anyone got these in there car? http://www.jdmperformance.co.uk/item_de ... odID=58525 One of mine has got a bit scratched by previous owner and a new one from Nissan is just under £100! So instead of re painting thought these might be ok, any thoughts, do they look good? Chris
  19. This guide helped me a lot for my install here's the link: http://www.my350z.com/forum/audio-video ... nitor.html
  20. Added a pic although not sure it shows up too well.
  21. This is a becoming a Chris only thread! Well it certainly looks good and feels pretty good too, finished fitting it this evening so i'll get some pics up tomorrow, can't guarantee that the fascia will show up other than just black but i will give it a go. Chris
  22. http://www.incarmart.com/ct24ns04r/niss ... tf&ret=cat Hi all After looking round for a fascia for my install thought i would try one of these and got one today. Had'nt come across a rubberised one before and i must say its much better than the shiny black plastic! Bit more expensive though but it gives a nice matt finish and although i have'nt fitted it yet i think its going to look good. Cheers Chris
