  8. this may be a dumb question but is the uprev flash only available for the 2nd generation > engines? or can it be used on the 276bhp ones too?
  9. For silver cars you cant beat the werkstat arcylic stuff.... its bloomin awesome. - I'm a recent convert! I've tried all sorts in the past, until recently megs No. 16 - Mirror Glaze wax was my favourite - gave good beads and great deep warm reflections. I tried the werkstatt prime / jett / gloss combo, after a clay and was seriously impressed. Flake pop is awesome and gives a glass like shine. Its not as warm as the wax but its defo more glossy and sharper. Unfortunately i've not had chance to get some images up of the werkstat. Here is what the Megs 16 used to look like on my old Type R Z with Megs - from phone on camera i'm afraid so sheeeeite quality...
  10. good wwrite up mate. now you know how you can do mine lol
  11. Does this count.... i was searching for a new Z wallpaper when this came up in google images.. desperate housewives washing a Z!
  12. Today my baby got some much needed tcl after the winter of just a wash and dry followed by a quick detail mist to keep her looking shiny. I got a sample of the werkstatt prime jett and gloss from detailing world group buy last year. After a good wash, followed by a clay and another wash I got started on the prime. I am very impressed on how easy this stuff is to use and even after a clay, it still picked up some dirt on the white applicator. Then in typical english weather we had some heavy rain. Out came the drying towels once it finished, gave it 2 coats of the jett 30 mins apart, followed by some more rain! The jett is very thin - almost like that runny white bird @*!# when you apply it, but again very easy to use and take off. Gave brilliant clarity and really make the metal flake in the silver pain stand out. I've always used megs mirror finish wax in the past and i have to say im converted! Due to it chucking it down just after i finished no pics yet im afraid. For anyone with a blade I can't recommend it enough! Pics to follow
  13. would i be right in thinking and reputable aftermarket panel filter will make these gains? K&N, Pipercross, Nismo, Cosworth?
  14. taken from this thread viewtopic.php?f=25&t=26040&hilit=06+airbox+difference
  15. i remember reading a post on here, an 06 airbox and aftermarket panel filter give some of the best gains? Not sure the difference between <06 and >06 airboxes - im sure one of the wise modded peeps will be along to say for sure? Mines standard so i can't say from experience.
