yes, i know it's only the 300bhp. i thought i would sacrifice a bit of power because i like the sound system the guys invested in. is it a massive difference between 313 bhp and 300 bhp? Just spotted the added ICE bits… so you liked the added bits then?

yeh, there are some 313bhp out there for a bit more or less. but like i said i liked the system that's been put in. and was hoping thta it doesnt make too much difference between the two powers.

the car i'm looking at is a 56 reg registered in feb 2007. so i'm guessing it's the P3 coming up at 27K? how much do they normally cost?

hello all. am still on the hunt for my first zed. was looking for cars with 10k or less on the clock but decided that all of them are a bit out of my price range so decided to up the mileage. is 24.5k still pretty low for a zed? and then the question would be when will it be due for a service? and how much would it cost? sorry for all the questions. just want to know so can budget. thanks guys.

just wanted to have a moan about a terrible morning. woke up late feeling pretty groggy. meeting a mate to play squash so jumped out the house and into the car. along the m25. going pretty fast and i have no excuses, as i did drive very quickly. spotted a vauxhall behind me and thought it was a police unmarked car. thought for a few seconds and convinced myself it wasnt so picked up speed again. only to be pulled over, having done 98mph and undertaken someone. like i say, i have no complaints about being caught for that because it had to happen sometime i guess. just annoyed that i almost spotted them and didnt slow down, fine, 3 points which will no doubt hit my insurance and dent my search for a zed. but i guess it probably could've been worse with the way i was driving. just wanted to get it off my chest.

yeh i keep hearing that, is there anything i need to do to push that? and how near to the end of month should i be popping into the dealers?

worth a shot, i suppose the prices will just continue to drop but its how long you cant wait till you get the keys and start enjoying it!!! true, i'm going to try and keep to my budget which at the moment is 16k. i'm hoping to get a 313 gt with sat nav. hope i'm being realistic. this is probably the best deal around because they are doing this with sat nav which others arent. but like i said i have to stick to my budget.

i know that the offer for the new zed is ridiculously cheap already. but my budget is just slightly below that, do you think they will drop any more on the price for a cash purchase?

so i know and understand that buying at the end of the month is always good as the salesmen may be willing to give extra discounts due to meeting targets. so i was just wondering if it would be a disaster for me to buy in the first few days of jan? i've requested a car to be delievered to my local dealer and it prob wont get there till this friday which will be beginning of jan, so would the salesmen be less willing to discount?

If you go to auction, I recon £12k tops. really? you think it's easy to get for 16k? i've been looking around and everything is listed at around the 20k mark and not sure how much i can knock off it? if it's listed at 20k, say a 2008 with less than 10k miles on the clock, can i offer then 15k for it? Read his post, he said its easy, if you go to auction...... well i thought he meant 12k for auction, so wasnt sure about at a dealer? still not sure haha

with the new slashed listed prices of new zeds. how far do you think it's possible to beat them down to? i too have a budget of around 16. ideally looking for a black gt 57 or younger and less than 10k on the clock. anyone know whether that is realistic or where i can look for one? thanks
