  1. a nicely polished coupe with a private plate M8****. its a good job you didnt park next time mine as its covered in sand from the building site next to my works car park!
  2. I put my name down as soon as I saw it on pistonheads, a 420mile round trip mind, but should be decent morning, plus mine will be the only black 350Z roadster ......oh sh1t martinmac is going too ;-) Going to stay over night before I think so can have some beers Adam
  3. I came from a Clio 182 to a Zed Roadster. the 182 was very quick on B roads and could take corners at impossible speeds - but you had to rag the nuts of it. The 350z is a different type of drive but its quick without trying. At low speeds it sounds good, floor it and it sounds amazing. Test drive one and see!
  4. really glad I bought a 350z Roadster rather than a Boxster. I work in leeds and parking mine outside the office gets more attention than the 911's. Yes its a nissan... but so is the new GT-R and you wouldn't turn one of those away would you ;-)
  5. ...dont deny your feelings - lose the roof!!!
  6. yes I am a hair dresser ...if you save up a few quid you might be able to pay the extra for the roadster option ;-)
  7. travelling home from Leeds in girlfriends Mini I was mocking all the MX5 owners with the roof down - got home and picked up the keys to my car and headed for the gym - got 300yards on the road and pulled over to lower the roof! ha ha the irony although all the chavs stopped robbing old women and dealing drugs and starred as I passed. bring on more sunshine!! :-)
  8. 3Fiddyz - what splitter is that in the pic? looks sweet seen those LED reflectors on ebay and was unsure - but looking at them fitted them look really good. Are they wired into the headlights or is it a seperate switch?? cheers Adam
  9. I was just commenting to my friend how the 07 GM roadster in front was a proper mans car unlike her mini - then we over took it and saw the blonde driving! ha ha
  10. I got mine repaired and powdercoated for £200 by www.TheWheelSpecialist.co.uk last year - did a good job and they look ace. pics on one of my previous threads
  11. spotted a black roadster heading towards West Vale from Elland one night last week about 20:30 - I thought I was the only person with a roadster in the Halifax area :-( ha ha
  12. I am having problems with mine (as per my recent posts) - front keep braking at corners that arent that severe and at low speed. As per people's reply it might be tyres, I have new Falkens on rear and part worn Bridgestones on the front. But the next thing on my list is to get it alligned properly as clipped a kerb a few months back at a decent speed :-( ...so did the alignment help at all? I have slight feathering on my front tyres too. Adam
  13. .....blackcircles are out of stock of the Falken 452's anyone know any other cheap tyre retailer??
  14. cheers Dave_McC least I can put it down to tyres rather than anything else more serious. both corners where long sweeping ones too - its strange as can take very sharp corners at speed fine. black circles it is then :-( have to put my part worns on ebay ....or save them for a track day!!
  15. the road was clear of spills and the back didnt step out or anything before the TC came on and started braking the wheels. I might change to fronts to match then as I dare not take corners at speed anymore :-(
  16. Afternoon guys, My traction control nearly sent me into the crash barrier yesterday (for the second time this month) and its starting to becoming 'annoying'. I was taking a corner on a dual carriage way (Elland bypass A629) at about 65mph, the road was dry, but the TC kicked on and off for 2 seconds. I have new Falkens on the rear (1000 miles worn in) and my older bridgestones on the front. Ideally you should have the same tryes all round but surely this cant result in the apparent random behaviour?? any ideas and thoughts?????
  17. have done a trip to london and back on them and a week at work so about 650miles. I've still got the original Bridgestones on the front which are part worn (half tred left) and new Flakens on the rear, not the best combination but cant afford to replace them til I they are worn just so I can have same brand all round.
  18. just got 2 new Falken's fitted last week (rears) - so it better not be a tyre problem ha ha. Will check pressures all round tonight.
  19. Afternoon, Had a bit of a moment joining the A1 from the M62 at the weekend when the TC kicked in for no obvious reason. I was doing 70 round the banked 2 lane filter that leads you off the M62 under the A1 then joins you to it. I thought I had a blow out as the back juddered like hell so obivously (any probably not wisely) came off the gas and applied the brake which seemed to make things worse. Whole episode only lasted a couple of seconds but scares the sh1t out of you!! pulled onto the hard shoulder expecting to find a flat tyre but everything was fine, the road was dry and didnt appear to have anything spilled on it. Have to put it down to 'one of those things'. Anyone else had the TC come on randomly??? Adam
  20. ...bit of shuddering for 30seconds then really bad vibrations from the rear when it went completely
  21. standard Bridgestone. It was one of the rears so replacing both rears with Michelin Pilot Sports :-)
  22. *Apologies for the filthy wheel... but it is powder coated anthracite aswell ;-)
  23. evening gents I was wondering what the juddering was.... now I know.
  24. ...I'm ordering mine tomorrow before they change the prices. always thought black circles was the cheapest but these are £80 cheaper a corner!!!
  25. had a blow out with a rear Bridgestone today so time buy some new rears - figured I'm better buying 2 new ones rather than having one new and one part worn. Found some Michelin Pilot Sports for 150each, fitted!!! www.tyretraders.com this seems very cheap - they are 230 on black circles!!!
