  1. get a Kenwood or Pioneer unit. I've got the Kenwood DNX-7200. Dvd & sat nav and its brilliant. they do a £450 version http://www.justkenwood.co.uk/stock01/ddx5024.asp well worth the extra money in the long term.
  2. no probs I'll take some pics in the morning. cheers for the help
  3. I am using the rca's to connect to the bose amp. undid them, tried... and nothing. unplugged the speaker loom completly so just got the power connectors going in and still nothing. very strange!!
  4. like the title says, started getting the 'protect' message on my DNX 7200 a week ago, I reset the headunit and all is well. But its done it again and reset hasn't worked! I have taken it out and disconnected the speaker wires the Kenwood manaul says its a speaker shorting fault thats making the Headunit go in protection mode. Anyone got any ideas what it might be. Tried all the wires seperatly and still nothing!! cheers Adam
  5. i think it will be the resoultion of the screen that is the issue here, its meant for sat nav graphics not flowing images
  6. sky+'d the wrong program last night so ended up watching 'Violent Britain' I think it was called on Bravo. Showed some chavs in Liverpool who showed phone clips of a home-made bomb blowing up a phone box, then showed a stolen Orange 350z getting a lot of abuse as they tried to do donuts in it. My heart sank - even more so when it showed mobile phone clips of some more kids throwing a cat off a 5th floor balcony .....4times before it died. C**TS, utter C**TS.
  7. had 2 of mine nicked last week :-(
  8. Morning, I have replaced my 2006 Bose head unit for a Kenwood system so no longer require it. Its fully working and unmarked. Open to sensible offers. Based in west yorkshire so collect would be better as it weighs a bit - although will post for right price. regards Adam
  9. ...the autoglym roof treatment is fantastic - did mine 2 weeks back and hood looks better then new!
  10. Local dealer had a 370z for the day. Spied it as i was driving past so turned round to have a look. The are really nice inside, a marked improvement on the 350z. Just a shame I've got to wait til the end of the year for the roadster!
  11. ...after reading this I think I am going to buy one. Everytime I want to take my bike upto the Lake District I have to take the girlfriends Punto. Being able to take the bike and my zed would be perfect.
  12. ...just PM'd you. I'll take you for a spin in mine since I am HX based. *Note to other members - if I end up in a shallow grave on the moors can someone please use the DVLA to trace the reg of the MR2 and retrun the favour - ha ha
  13. ...do you reckon the frame could take a full suspension MTB without any problems????
  14. The 370z was a demo car as Nissan had a display outside the ground, it looked gorgeous. Just caught a glimpse of the GT-R on the round-a-bout outside.
  15. ...sorry for not replying sooner but had to drop 2 blonde hotties off at uni ha ha
  16. Left my roadster outside JJB's gym in Leeds yesterday whilst I worked out/walked round the machines. Walked out with 2 blonde hotties in front of me who spotted the Zed and commented to each other what a great looking car it was ...cue me unlocking the car and trying to look like I'd done a massive work out. Anyway would that have happened if I had a Boxster??? I must admit that in this instance I really wish the Zed had more than 2 seats ;-) enjoy the sunshine Adam
  17. bought the Autoglym kit today from Halfords, they have 3 for 2 so got a litre of Wonder Wheels and another Maguire drying cloth for 30notes which isnt that bad. Reading the protector spray it says use 250ml per application, is that right??? I assume you clean the top frequently but only protect it twice a year or something??? cheers Adam
  18. Morning guys searched for this but got some mixed answers so i'll ask again - is the roof on the roadster fabric or not??? Likewise whats the best products to clean/protect it?? cheers Adam
  19. I looked at all the options getting a rack on my Roadster to cart my MTB about - but decided against it. As a results I am having to take the girlfriends 1.2 Punto upto the lakes this weekend rather then blasting up in mine :-( So if anyone sees a blue Punto Sporting heading up to Coniston this weekend just pretend its a 350Z roadster and wave! ha ha I saw one DIY job in America that involved welding very close to the fuel tank .....didnt really fancy that You might get away with a carbon road bike, but my full suspension bike weighs a bit more. Give it a try and see ...and take some pics of the fitting as am curious myself
  20. Ok - well rather than change the list. If you have to give your username on the day mine is 'AdamMitch69' - I put down a roadster which looking at your pic is what you have. Sorted. Have fun and take pics!!
  21. Maz77 - do you have a pistonheads username??? if so i'll swap yours in for mine. cheers Adam
  22. Morning guys, I am down on the list to attend/show my motor but cant make it. So I'd thought I'd offer it out on here since I think some people where going to turn up on the day. It's April 25th at Nissan UK HQ. First person to reply gets it and I'll change the names on the PistonHeads list. Gutted I cant go Adam
  23. last time I drove the Wrynose Pass it was pissing down so hard there was a mini river coming down the road ....needless to say that attempting 30% incline in water was interesting!!
  24. I am always surprised by the positive attention the 350Z gets - have loads of random people comment on my car, definately wouldn't get that if I had bought a boxster or CLK. With the roof down most people wonder what it is - you can see them looking at the Nissan badge with a blank expression ha ha
