  1. Yeah looking good. Looking forward to seeing pics when its finished and in.
  2. Maybe a silly question, after a first time on track, is it likely to need new tyres or pads, just something i would need to factor in. New front tyres and rears have been on for about 6k. Also does anyone bother with paying the premium for trackday insurance? Not intending on driving mad, just wondered what the consensus really.
  3. If anyone knows of any good airfield days coming up i would definatly be interested in meeting up if any other guys wanna go. Wouldnt mind somewhere with a bit a tuition available. Maybe midlands or below, may stuggle to make a whole weekend of it so would have to make it back the same day.
  4. hmmmm tempting, a long way off tho, quite far for you too. I was hoping something would come up at bedford at some point soon. Its another airfield track so seems like a good place to start.
  5. Wierd, now theres a coincidence. That belonged to the guy that i brought the car from. Cant say he mentioned that he had it at the time, would have tried to get that thrown in too.
  6. Yeah a very interesting read. Iam too pondering the idea of going on the track. Its the only place to really get to know the car, and i think it would be good to pick up some tuition at the same time.
  7. A friend had one of these a few years back. Was a really nice car, he enjoyed pointing out all the facts about it, 1 of which is that the roof panel is the only panel that is shared by the other E30s. Trouble was he was only using at the weekends, one month he had to cough up £500 excess as it was broken into, the beasts couldnt steal it, but in trying to do so they ripped out all of the electrics under the bonnet and dash. total repair bill ended up being £2200, was an expensive night in london that one. The next month he had an expensive BMW service, they kept the car for 2 weeks, then got it back and sold it on.
  8. looking cool. Liking the screen, and yeah the sub enclosures look great.

  18. Hi Welcome to the forum. I only joined and picked my car up a few weeks back. Had a lot of good advice so just ask, ther's likely to be someone who can answer it. You decided what colour etc you want yet?
  19. Hello and welcome to the club mate. Good choice on colour.
  20. Hi all, After struggling to reach back into the car with the window up (parked in a tight garage) i thought id try and find a add on for the factory alarm system that closes the windows when the car is remotely locked. I was looking at one of these http://www.bodykitsonline.co.uk/shop/in ... ts_id=7150 Has anyone done this and used something similar to this? Any tips would be much appreciated.
