If you want a real project you can always get an accident damaged example, like mine. Then you could always start a fresh, and can replace damaged parts for a kit (if you are looking for a money saver that is!). Picked mine up damaged, really great example, aslong as you know what you are doing, you cant go wrong! Anyway, Welcome to the forum Rich!

Ian Again, sorry to hear about the car. I would definately push for get every penny you can get. I wouldn't settle for £9,250 especially if you spent near on £14k for it. I would try to push it to £11k plus the cost of the extras. You cant pick up any decent Z for £9k, so they should give you more than that, you couldn't buy a like for like one for that money - tell them this!

Firstly Welcome! A wing isn't really anything to worry about, especially if its been done by a stealer! Atleast you will get it a little cheeper (barter it down for a dream!) I got my 53 plate (which i would guess was a cat C or D - but it was unrecorded) a bit cheeper, but i was willing to pay the price as i know i will be keeping it for a while. The gent i bought it off had a few others (Cat D), he was letting go for around £7k to £10k - dependant on age and millage, still damaged though, and standard. Just see if you can get pics or conformation of the actual damage for when you are selling it in the future. Will make it easier.

I'm from a place not that far from Blakney. Nice place if i say myself. Thanks for the welcomes and the good lucks. To answer any queries, the damage extends pretty much to the whole of the front end (but no chassis/engine damage, luckely). Was all the rad, AC compressor, core support, wings etc. Lucky its got that pretty strong (and expensive) slam panel (didn't think ally would be that strong!) thanks madmarky, if you could let me know about that headlamp washer, that would be great!

Hi everyone. Just posting this to say hello to everyone and to introduce myself. My names Kevin (or Kev). I live just a little way from Norwich, Norfolk (the old fenland) and have just bought a 350z GT UK spec in blade silver. It is an accident damaged example (one of the reasons i bought it) and have taken it on over the past few months as a project (and have a fair few left!) I haven't yet actully drove it which is quite frustrating (as it is quite a step up from my current car). I thought i would join the forum now, as i was going to leave it until i finished, but what the heck, something to talk about, which im sure some of you will have an interest. I'm pretty open to offers at the moment, i paid £400 for the pair (i thought this was cheep as the dealer wanted £1100) so i'm looking for around the half way mark. The bloke i bought them off wouldn't sell them seporately, as he didn't want to deal with the hassle. They are off an 04 GT and fit my 53 GT (the ones with the orange strip). I will post some pics ASAP (must take some first). On the project front, i am prob bout 3/4 the way through. I am enjoying it, but they aren't the simplist of cars lol. and i havent driven it properly yet!!! Thanks again lads

Hello there everyone! I purchased a 350z a few months ago (have only just joined the forum), which i have taken on as a project (was accident damaged). I had to buy a pair of headlights (he would only sell them as a pair) and i only needed the OSF one. Thus, i have the NSF for sale. Please let me know if you are interested. Oh, i have the bracket for it as well, if needed. I can take a few pictures if needed, but it is an original genuine UK HiD and in very good condition (with no cracks/chips etc). Looking for £200.
