  1. I'm looking at buying a normal ticket to go along to this as a spectator, on the Saturday only, but more to have a look around. Would be good to say hello to anyone if you do get a stand together, I can drop by. Otherwise anyone with a 350Z and I'll be asking if they're on the forum I saw the rate was £18 for just spectator in advance, £25 on the day to spectate. I saw the rates for cars on show are as start of this thread. I'll NOT be showing my Leon! Maybe see ya there?
  2. Just wanted to say thanks for the great feedback/info on here already. I'm now actively working on the day to day car option which I use to and from work, plus for work sometimes...should have an idea of that before the end of the month If all goes to plan, I'll have a Leon Cupra for sale... Kevo, if I do get this far, will probably drop you a line about sourcing and also more detailed tips (particularly the sizes/dimensions that need checking (presume you must have the diagram with the dimension on!)). Cheers, Rich
  3. Cheers Kevo, I have actually been looking at salvage recovered but just not seen anything that looks remotely like it's repairable, all look to be high speed impacts and so massive damage. So advice on choosing what, and where to look (online I guess would be my starting point), would be helpful. How did you find your car? And how much could I expect to pay less than a non damaged car?
  4. Cheers for the details guys! I find my Cupra to be fantastic for the work run, get round about 50MPG with the cruise on and motorway miles, and fantastic torque so getting up to speed on the motorway is safe and fun too. But, I do fancy a car that I can take the time to build up, as and when I can afford changes, much like everyone else really. I've been looking around for ages, like lots of options, such as Honda S2000, but I think that the 350Z is a better car to drive from what I have read and actually prefer the looks. I know that's mostly personal choices, but seems this is defo a winner in my book. I think I'll still need a diesel for miles involved with my working day, so I'll have to talk tot he boss and see what happens there. Anyway, think I'll check out the site, defo keep an eye on what's for sale etc and go from there. One thing I do like is the tan leather in the GT pack. Think that looks fab, so can you get that put in (say picking up the seats etc from a salvage if I was really lucky to find them) and add them as aftermarket mod or does that have to come as part of factory install? (I just realised that I maybe ought to read the site before opening these questions up, so feel free to point me at a particular post, otherwise I'll go looking and maybe just take abit longer...) Thanks again guys. I'll defo try to think about coming along to a meet at some point. Rich
  5. This is hilarious! And that looks to be on the motorway... Good You Tube clip that one!
  6. Hiya, I Just joined the forum tonight! Am totally interested in getting a zed, but would like it to be a bit of a project, so not 100% sure where to start (how cheap I can start, I probably mean). Thought I'd join in and see what I can find out from the more knowledgeable ones.... Run a Leon Cupra TDI at the moment, so want to use that to fund some of this...I'm just at the ideas stage at the moment. My first problem is deciding which colour Z I like, got about 4 favs at the mo... Anyway, glad to be on board. Rich
