Worth test driving an Evo. I had a modded Evo7 a couple of years back - awesome machine. Cack inside compared with the Z (Recaros are nice though) and also there is still that boy racer / chav image unfortunately with them. Ah yeah, i was lucky to see 15mpg with the Evo as well!!! Chris

My iPhone 3G works fine as well with the new firmware. Best thing to try is unpair the bluetooth device from the phone and try and resync? Chris

Even though I’ve already had a couple of people interested in my Z yesterday since mentioning I am going to sell I thought I’d best be on the safe side and put a proper advert up in case the sales fall through, so here goes!! Nissan 350Z Uk Spec GT November 2004 - 54 plate 54000 miles Long MOT Tax until end of August Full Service History (all Nissan except 2 stamps, one of them being my mechanic – I use no other person!) Next service is a basic P1 oil change Kuro Black Alezan / Orange heated leather (no wear at all on bolsters) Birdview Satnav built into cubby hole Reverse Parking Sensors 18†Rays Alloys (refurbed last year) Front tyres are superb, back ones have a couple of thousand on them (All Bridgestone Potenzas) EBC Ultimax front and rear discs with EBC Redstuff pads (replaced last week!) JWT Popcharger (original airbox available if needbe) Carbon style Nismo spoiler (original spoiler available if needbe) 350Z floor mats Bose CD Changer / Sub etc (only skipped once on me since owning!!) Remote alarm and Tracker fitted New windscreen fitted a couple of months back due to me not getting a stonechip repaired and it cracking! The Z is in lovely condition with no dings / dents etc around the car (pet hate!!). Couple of the odd stonechips on the front bumper / bonnet but not bad at all, especially for a black car! Interior is immaculate, no wear on either seat (small 5mm discolouring on drivers seat but not even worth mentioning!) and everything works as it should. Aircon works lovely, heated seats are all good. I would say the only thing about the car which I am not happy with are some marks that the original spoiler had left when it was removed to fit the Nismo one (original spoiler is available to refit if needbe as the Nismo used the original holes – no I’m not doing it for the buyer though!!!!!) and I sometimes get the old clicky axle on the drivers side, which its booked in to be regreased / turned today so hopefully that will be sorted! I’m after £12k for the car. No one will be test driving unless they are fully comp and can prove it(!) and due to being carjacked last year by a potential buyer I’d like to see a driving licence or something before viewing the car (sorry still a bit paranoid). First pic was taken a couple of months ago, the rest were taken earlier on this morning (grotty weather!!) New brake discs fitted and not even run in yet fully!! Marks from where the original spoiler was. Original spoiler is included in the sale though if you want to cover them back up. Please feel free to mail me on here with any other questions. Haha, sounds like you are doing exactly what I normally do (searching through peoples posts!!). With the clicky axle I told my mechanic to regrease the inner ones when it was serviced and not the outer ones (embarrassed to admit it but is me being a plonker!!!!!). I have spoken to the mechanic about doing the outers and he thinks he can get me in tomorrow afternoon to do it, so fingers crossed all will be sorted before you the weekend . Chris

Cheers Nixy . I looked at loads of 10k motors and struggled to find a clean one so ended up spending more and finding this one!!!! Shame it has to go, without a doubt the best overall car i've owned (been through m3's, cossies, Evo's, subarus, dc5 integras, porsche etc etc!!) Chris

If 12k is your budget then I could have what your looking for, im about to put my up for sale this week after being persuaded by the missus that its a waste just sitting on the drive (I rarely drive it!!). Its a Kuro Black 54 plate with Alezan/Orange leather, full history, all extras including built in satnav, rear sensors, bluetooth, Bose, just had a P2 service, new brake fluid, plugs, ebc ultimax discs and redstuff pads all round, nismo spoiler etc etc. Car is in mint condition with no dings / dents etc.... drive spot on!! I'm over in Essex so about a 3 1/2 hour drive from you . pic from a few weeks back: The one you posted above looks nice but gotta have Alezan leather in my opinion, makes the inside feel so much bigger!! I am unfortunately putting my UK Z up for sale this week (need to free some money up for decorating!) but will be starting mine at £12k. Was in the same boat as you when I bought mine but couldnt find one for £10k and ended up spending more and getting this one. As above travelling down to the Isle of Wight camping on friday for the week (dont ask!!!!) so Z will be fully laden with gear in the back. What tyre pressure should I be running in my wheels? (18" Rays). Cheers Chris

Excellent cheers guys, i wont be driving with my left foot on the brake slightly any more!!!! That was always the general concensus in my Cosworth days to bedding them in!! Been speaking to CS so all sounds normal, was just worried about the ever so slight score marks on the discs, but presume its just the black surface wearing off!!!! Chris

I went out at low tide and i really dont think that there is any chance of you getting on from the UK side. The IOW side isnt so bad tho. Doh!! How do I know / find out when the tide is high / low?!! I think the ferry is at 11am!!

Fitted my new Ultimax discs and redstuff pads last night (thank CS for supplying ), all went on perfectly only taking about half hour per side. Took it down the road with my left foot very lightly on the brake to get them bedded in slightly. When i got back and came to a halt on the driveway I noticed a slight grinding noise when coming to a stop. I presume its coming from the discs/pads. Is this a normal type noise when first fitting them. The face of the redstuff pads look quite rough so I presume its just them wearing off the top layer b as I have noticed slight score marks on the black face of the discs. I presume once they smooth out after a few more miles all should be ok? Is this normal?!! Cheers Chris

Removing is a bugger!! Did mine and made a little bit of a mess of the tailgate (and my fingers!!!!). Would never do one again, even if I was paid!!

Following on from another thread i'm toying with the idea of changing the colour / pinstripe of my Rays wheels..... Few photoshops below, what do you reckon would look best? I have 2 personal fav's but unsure out of them!!!! Chris
