  1. i upgraded from a type r to a zed and i find the box in my zed to be just as good! Obviously not better as you have to be a bit more gentle with it as it has bags more torque. The civic had only half the torque, so you could give it some through the gears no problem
  2. The denso iridiums are better to use but cost a bit more. I've actually got 8 of these for sale, i know you only need 6 but you'll have 2 spare just in case £55 delivered
  3. Stop ponsing around and tell us what you are doing
  4. The simple answer is they ONLY work with the Bose system
  5. I recently sold two £150 type R 12" subs on ebay and only got £56 for the 2 of them minus all the fees Ebay is not always the best place to sell. The headunit i'm selling i bought second hand on ebay for £700. New 6 months earlier the guy paid well over £1500
  6. I know Jerry is, or has fitted the later interior to his car. Maybe worth asking him what problems you may encounter.
  7. Never put covers on the zed seats as that would impair the operation of the seat air bags , as stated in the 350z handbook
  8. All imports brought in to this country and registered after 1st april 2006 will pay the higher rate of tax, regardless of the age of the car, even if its a '52' plate
  9. I'm after £20 posted for it.
  10. I've got a brake fluid cover if thats any good to you.
  11. GT4zed (Bennet) had a diffuser, don't know if he fitted it after?
  12. To be honest i wouldn't worry about the bose. Its nothing special. Most members on here have upgraded to aftermarket systems and have reported much better sound quality.
  13. Thanks for all your kind comments , wouldn't of expected anything less from such a great forum . If the car does sell i'll still be on here talking crap so you've been warned
  14. One set of the focal components are provisionally sold and so are the rear Hertz Speakers The other set of focal tweeters are still fixed to the internal door mirror covers out of a type R, so would be ideal to go back into that car without having to cut your old ones up. Thats of course if you have an EP3 2 door civic, or know someone who's got one.
  15. The rears are a straight swap. The fronts like all components will require spacer rings to be made up. There are "how to's" on here somewhere, i'm sure someone will tell you what work is involved.
  16. Regrettably I've had too make the painful decision to sell my Zed after 2 months of ownership. Thinking that another contract was available soon after my job in Bath was over, i decided to buy this Zed after having the first one written off. Now, three months later, with still no signs of a new job i need to cut right back and unfortunately the Zed has to be sacrificed. If it had 4 seats i'd keep it and get rid of the other car, but with a family of 3 kids they wont fit in the boot Ok, a brief description of the car; Its a Sunset orange GT UK car, with Alzean leather with all usual GT extras including the rays wheels. So it comes with cruise control, heated leather seats and premium bose sound system with bluetooth, Aircon, six speed manual, electric everything! Bridgestones RE040 tyres with 5-6mm of tread all round. MOT'd until the 25th of November and taxed until the end of October. It has 83,000 miles on the clock but i know the previous owner spent most of the time up and down the motorways. Even so, these engines are very reliable and at that mileage, only just run in It drives superbly and everything is still tight on it. Full service history (P1 last month) with invoices showing the clicky rear axle, bose stereo skipping and some other work under warranty sorted out. Also full brake replacement 10,000 miles ago. As most of you know i swapped my original black leather for the Alzean (orange) leather out of Nurrish's car. As his car has only done 18,000 miles you can appreciate that this interior is in immaculate condition. I'm sure Nurrish would agree The paint work has a few small scratches here and there, also a couple of parking dinks, that i was hoping to get Craig to work his magic on, but he was busy when i could afford him . Also comes with the standard stone chips on the front end. The wheels could do with a refurb (which only costs £200 near me), but they don't look too bad (usual corrosion and very slight kerbing on front wheels). I'm asking £9250 with the bits i've already put on the car (check out the sig at bottom of page), and a genuine Nissan 350Z outdoor car cover thrown in if i get that price. If the extras don't interest the potential buyer then i'll put it back to standard and i'll want £9000 for it. All in all for what i'm asking for the car it is a bargain imo I have put a few pics up on different threads, and some of you have seen the car in the flesh, but i'd better put them on here so any new members wont have to 'search' for them If more specific pics are required, let me know and i'll do my best to get them up quickly. I've already got a dealer with cash ready to steal this off me and if i can't sell this car within the next week on here then he's gonna be taking it back to his garage and probably banging it out for at least £10,500 if not more I know i'm going to be lost without it, but i'm hoping when things pick back up, i'll be able to get back in a zed. As for the forum, well, its been part of my life for well over a year and i'm gonna have to be weaned off it extremely s l o w l y PS The Nissan kick plates group buy should be with us any day now and once they arrive i may have my own set to sell on. My top priority is to get them delivered asap by hand or by post, so no worries there
  17. The gove box door has 2 locating pins that act as a hinge, so looking at the profile of the sub hole this may well fit. I might have a look at this today.
  18. From what i can see in them pics, i'd say that the innards of the glovebox can be bolted up in place of the subwoofer, as all the holes look like a mirror image on both sides. It even looks like the glove box door would fit as well. Just look at the profile of the plastic were the grille fits Glovebox on both sides could be ideal for amps while the sub/s could go under the strut brace. Anybody tried this?
