zebedy Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 ok so I've ordered my new wheels with are 20's. After I put them on I may or may not have an unsightly gap under the arches, not so much as putting 18's or 19's granted , so I light of this I'll need to lower the car. As I'm now on a tight budget after forking out 1600 on wheels, I'll be opting for springs. Do these come in a variety of drops like 10mm, 20mm 30mm and so on and also who would you recommend I buy them from?? Thanks in advance Zeb Quote
johnny cobra Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Seen some on Ebay today good makes too ... Around £130. take a look ... Quote
GMballistic Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Tein S springs offer a moderate drop (Fr 17mm/Rr 14mm) and are a reasonable £160 odd from Clark Motorsport. Have a look here: http://cougarstore.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_9&zenid=bcaa60565806895c2c0f2d2ff1b32aee Bear in mind if you do go with the 25mm/30mm drops you may need some other suspension parts to help keep the car running proper alignment like a camber kit. KyleR Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Size of the rims is irrelevant when it comes to arch gap, providing you are buying appropriate tyres to keep within OEM limits. Quote
