MrBlack Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Please let me know what you have mine are fogged up bad and would love a new set standard or aftermarket Quote
docwra Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 You might be better off fixing what you have, 350Z headlights are SERIOUSLY expensive, even secondhand. Quote
newkid Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 I may have a set for sale shortly off a UK 05 plate. Quote
ZedManTID Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 (edited) I had the same problem with my JDM. Bought these and they look pukka! Fitted perfectly and no import duty either as sent with value of $20. Had them nearly 2 years now and zero quality issues! http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/360420426401?nav=SEARCH Edited April 27, 2015 by ZedManTID Quote
ZedManTID Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 (edited) FYI You will have to rewire UK spec lights as they have an 8 pin connector. You will need lights with a 6 pin connector if you have a Jap import. The lights I've suggested are plug and play 6 pin Edited April 27, 2015 by ZedManTID Quote

ZEUS Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 hmm thanks for all the info , i just want simplistic style mine are all fogged up aswell , how hard is it to get the lense off the light housing ? It's not too bad . Remove all the screws from the back and then warm the mastic seal up with a heat gun (carefully) and pull apart! Are you sure the fogging isn't on the outside as most of the time it is. Try t cutting them first. Quote

Ok i gotta head to Glasgow tommorow morning so ill make this a priority for next week , ive had it all off before and tryed but didnt know i had to heat it up , Ive had its polished and professionaly cleaned just on outside glass but its all stained inside , guess ill do it properly and do all that , then try and figure out the wiring after , any jdm owners have pics of there wiring setup , mine seems bodged :/ Quote
BulletMagnet Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Also worth mentioning, check the seals on the ballasts and the seals on the cover for bulb access. Might need fresh o-rings to cure fogging probs 1 Quote
glen-c Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 I have a set if OEM standard lights which are all good other than you will need to use your wiring off of your headlights as mine have none Quote
Oggieteepo Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 (edited) I used Maguiars plastRX on mine and they really came up good I had a slight fogging in mine but it's worth a shot before splashing out on expensive lights? http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/engine-and-exterior/meguiars-plastrx/prod_283.html Edited April 30, 2015 by Oggieteepo Quote
