Bluetooth OBD2 reader and torque app. problem connecting to ecu

Does anyone have a cure for this? I have tried 2 scanners now. Both work in my moms fiesta but neither in the zed. It cant connect to the ecu. This is using the torque app.

Yep and with you all too. Bought two types, both work on the Fords but not on my zed. Driving me nuts. !!!

if you need to check a fault code then this plug in reader worked for my HR

no live data stream but i can check codes, freeze frame data and reset the error. which is just fine for my faulty front end sensor, means i can check a warning light is the known fault so it's doesn't hide any new problems.

 

it's cheap and might get you guys going for trouble shooting, but it's no replacement for a bluetooth adaptor and app with live feed.

Yes, it worked on mine but cant guarantee anything obviously.

If someone else does get this dongle can you post up if it worked or not ? As I have the same problem and im using a elm327 v2.0 Bluetooth dongle

Bought the Vgate dongle but it doesn't seem to want to connect to my android HU ? Will have a play around with settings over weekend see if I can get it sorted, was any lights lit up on yours jetpilot? None have lit up on mine ?

I cant remember but will have a check, that sounds like a bluetooth thing rather than not connecting to the ecu.
