were all 2007 350z hr engines?

Hi all,

 

Just spoken to a guy thats selling a 2007 313 350z.. but i asked if it was twin intake and he said he doesnt know and thinks its the early 2007 single intake...

but i thought all 2007 were hr twin intake engines?

I dont really have any interest in a rev up.

You are right to ask the question and his answer is suggesting it is a DE rev-up model (296bhp).

 

Quite a few rev-ups were not registered well into 2008/9 and either ignorance (seller and/or buyer) or blatant deception has led to some onwers being caught out.

But be wary if it has one as many DE engined cars have had the HR bonnets fitted It can't be done the other way though.

Right to be wary. There is a 2008 registered 350Z for sale where I work but it's a late registered rev-up.

Stock early bonnet will fit on a HR engined car just like my track car. Just run without the stock strut brace.
